It’s a wonderful life, if we strive to make it so. Challenging, confusing, complicated, yes, but it is what we make of it through our thoughts, expectations, and efforts to be as loving, friendly, and caring as possible. This new Easter message is that we all have the potential to develop our Divine Soul quality, which is the Christ-Principle latent in everyone’s soul. This was, and is, Jesus’ message. He came to announce the rebestowal of the soul’s potential to receive God’s Gift of Divine Love. Our beloved Brother Jesus prayed throughout his childhood and early adult life to be close to his Heavenly Father. He prayed sincerely and frequently, longing for God’s Will to be done in his life. He learned from the scriptures that a Messiah would someday come and bring news of a New Covenant, a Special Gift from God, which would bring redemption to God’s children.

When Jesus was about 20 years old, he had the astounding thought that he might be the one chosen to deliver the Glad Tidings of the New Covenant — the now available Gift of Love, the Substance of God’s Divine Soul. Jesus conferred with his cousin, John, later known as the Baptist, and worked out the plan for John to go forth and prepare the people to repent their sins, and to be baptized in the name of the Holy Spirit. Jesus would become the exemplifier of the Grace of God’s great Gift of Divine Love, and demonstrate what God’s Love in the human soul could enable a person to become in their life.

Today, we, who are living on earth, have the potential to become divine souls through sincere prayers for forgiveness and Mercy. Divine Love has the power to transform the natural soul into a Divine soul when prayed for frequently, earnestly, and with faith that God will answer these heartfelt prayers.

If we wish to develop the highest potential of our souls, we need to do our part by learning to love ourselves and others. Love begets love. Just ‘thinking about wanting to change’ will not bring about a transformation of soul. Our heart’s desire needs to become involved in our quest. Love is a spiritual emotion which comes from the soul. In order to develop our love nature, it needs to be sought for through prayers to a spiritual power, the Source of Love. We can start today. God will bless us all with Love. Amen

I’ve been receiving thoughts, from guardian spirits, that it’s important to share information about how to develop our soul in Love. I hope I can express it clearly, so souls-seeking-truth can find their way toward the higher heavens. I’ve enjoyed the positive-thinking magazine, Guideposts, since the 1960’s and this month there was a quote by Loren Fisher – poet  “The difference between holding onto hurt or releasing it with forgiveness is the difference between laying your head at night on a pillow filled with thorns or a pillow filled with rose petals.”

It seems difficult for a person to understand that when they find fault, or stay angry, with others, it only stays with themselves. The ‘others’ do not feel what is being said about them. In this case, the reason we get back what we put out is because it never left us in the first place. For example, if we project anger, we only get angry. If we want love, we need to give love. All love comes from God. Our souls were created with natural love as its greatest attribute. If we want to develop our souls’ love in its highest potential, we need to learn how to pray and ask God to bestow this Substance of the Creator’s Soul, Divine Love, upon us.

Someone commented on a  Blog, and made this lovely statement…in part: “I really enjoyed reading this…I appreciate the encouragement that we need to develop our love nature. Thank you.” Developing our love nature is one of the most important spiritual lessons anyone can learn. It is challenging to progress in natural love, to me it feels like trying to lift myself up by my own bootstraps. God never forces Divine Love upon anyone, the only way It can be received is to want It to come into your soul, to pray for God’s Gift of Grace…and pray for Divine Mercy…desire to develop the highest potential of your soul…ask to be blessed by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is God’s Special Energy, which has the sole purpose of conveying Divine Love to the penitent, prayerful person’s soul. It’s important to be humble. Striving to understand spiritual truth through intellectual reasoning brings one to faulty conclusions. To me, this explains why there are so many ‘interpretations’ of spiritual laws and teachings. Seek spiritual truth with sincere and heartfelt longings and allow it to perculate into your hearts’ inner-knowing. Amen

Sometimes when I awake with thoughts swirling around me,  I wonder if they’d be suitable for sharing. This morning, the thoughts seemed somewhat negative, and I wondered if they would help inspire anyone to ‘want to develop their love nature’. Then I realized that everyone is on their own level of spiritual growth and awareness, so there might be someone who would be attracted to, or respond in a positive way to a different approach.

This quote by Martin Luther King, Jr, I find inspiring: “The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth. Through violence you murder the hater, but you do not murder the hate. Returning violence for violence multiplies the violence, adding deeper darkness to a night devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: Only Love can do that.”

Since we tend to see our faults in others, then it would prove helpful for the development of our souls to notice what our complaints are, so we can then apply them to our own imperfections. Since we get-back what we put-out, then, if we want love and peace to prevail in our lives, we might consider becoming more loving, accepting, gentle, kind, helpful and joyful people. This inspires others to respond in kind and helps the giver benefit the most by changing their attitude, uplifting their spirit, and bringing more peace into their life.

People perpetuate their own unhappiness by the thoughts and attitudes they hold. If a person wants to feel peaceful and unafraid, they need to change their outlook by changing their thinking and motivation, their intentions and the activation of their will. It takes a sincere and prolonged desire to ‘want to develop the highest potential of your soul’. It may sound too difficult to try, but it is less difficult than continuing to live with unhappiness. Give Divine Love a chance to lift you up, by praying for Its inflowing.

When people learn to love themselves more, and understand that everyone has struggles, hopefully they might strive to love others more. Wouldn’t it be amazingly wonderful if, instead of finding fault with their fellow humans, people would love and support one another, and appreciate the good things they do?! Amen

The Ministering Angels tell us that there have been people, over the past 2,000 years, with kind and loving hearts, who have received God’s special Gift of Grace. This occurred without their being aware that such a gift was available (and they may not have believed it, even if they had been told). Like so many humans today, if or when they ‘hear’ that they have the opportunity to ‘become Born-Again in Love,’ they are not aware of the importance of that message for the development of their spiritual nature.

In order for a person to receive God’s Gift of Grace – Divine Love – first they need to ‘desire to increase the spiritual quality of their lifel’. This is difficult to do if one doesn’t believe they have a soul. The kind and loving people, who received this transforming Love, must have been motivated to ‘do their best,’ to a be kind and loving person, and make a spiritual connection with their Father in Heaven. They may have wanted to help others and exemplify, even if unawaringly, how to bring greater peace and love into the world. Human beings can become aware of the fact that they have a soul (actually they ARE souls in a flesh body) by praying for guidance and protection, by striving to put their love into everything they do, and to demonstrate compassion, caring and helpfulness.

When souls-seeking-Truth pray for help to overcome their blocks and fears, they will attract guardian spirits to guide and protect them from negative influences. It’s important for souls desiring to grow in Love, to first love themselves (a spiritual law states that “one cannot love others more than they love themselves”). When a person prays to know the Truth, their spiritual perceptions will start to develop. Everyone has the gift of intuition, but oftentimes it’s not given the attention it deserves. Praying with heartfelt longings to do God’s Will in your life, will bring God’s Gift of Divine Love into your soul. God’s Will is that all souls become at-One with their Heavenly Father in Love. Pray to be blessed by the Holy Spirit; It is God’s Special Energy which has the purpose of conveying Divine Love to the souls of all prayerful children.

Pray for forgiveness and Mercy, and you will receive Divine Love, for it is the Substance of God’s Soul that has the Power to take away the blight of sins, and raise the condition of a    human up to become an angel. Amen

It seems that many people, including those who have passed into the spirit world, are not aware of the fact that they are not progressing in their spiritual nature, or soul potential. It also seems that they are not sensitive to the fact that they are not particularly happy where they are. Perhaps they believe they have no choice, or feel that ‘this is just the way things are’ and there’s nothing they can do about it. To those who have eyes to see (or ears to hear, if being read to) and want to know the truth, let them consider teachings from spirits who have become Angels through the Gift of God’s Divine Grace.

We have a special friend who  became aware of the Celestial Messages in 2010, and had made noticable spiritual progress through her sincere prayers for Divine Love and Mercy. She has been aware of her gift of ‘insight’ or intuition, since she was a young person, and now realizes she can receive ‘guidance’ from guardian spirits. During a recent episode of sincere and devout longings for Divine Love and forgivness, she was inspired with this prayer:

“Our Father, who art in Heaven, I humbly ask for Faith, which brings much happiness and draws me closer to You. Not just with the belief which comes from the mere operation of the mind, but with a faith so certain that no doubt will ever arise as to its reality; A Faith which comes from the opening of the perceptions of the soul. A Faith which increases as Your Love in our soul increases.

“And please Father, open my soul to the Holy Spirit, Your instrumentality for conveying to  my soul Your Divine Love. Infill my soul with Love’s presence, essence and influence. Help me to have the wisdom which comes from Divine Love and enables me to experience its influence in great abundance, so I may be saved from my sins and become fit for Your Kingdom of Love.

“I humbly pray to You this day in the name of Truth, for Your Love and Mercy; with this great Faith and pure desire, I know that whatsoever is asked of You in the name of Love and Truth shall be given to me.  Amen”

Humility is the Touchstone for an entrance into the Celestial Heavens. Faith is the other side of the coin of Divine Love; when you pray for one, the other is also increased.

I’m sure there are many reasons it’s difficult, even for sincere souls, to grasp the meaning of spiritual concepts because there is such a large variety of them. We can start with the fact that even within the most accurately conveyed explanations of how people can develop their souls in Love, there will be different explanations, depending upon what the teacher has accepted as true. It always comes back to helping people learn that everyone is entirely responsible for their own spiritual growth, development and understanding.

My daughter placed a bookmark along the edge of my mirror, where I would be reminded of its message: ” The Power of Prayer: Prayer is a powerful thing, for God has bound and tied Himself thereto. None can believe how powerful prayer is, and what it is able to effect, but those who have learned it by experience. –Martin Luther”

Love is the ingredient of all knowledge; all truth is knowledge, but all knowledge is not truth. The mind can become stuck with certain concepts and ‘decide’ they are true. But the mind of a person who has not developed their soul in love, especially in the Grace of God’s Divine Love, will fail to find spiritual truths. If their concepts are working for them, they will be satisfied with what they believe. But, “Change is the Law Eternal”, spiritual laws go into effect over material laws, which can help seekers-of-truth realize they have more to learn if they want to continue develping their soul’s love.

It can be disconcerting to see how so many people live ‘by the sword’ and out of harmony with love. But I have found it impossible to even attempt to change their attitudes. I have faith in God’s higher laws, and one which states, ”everyone reaps what they sow.” Many people are impatient and want to see them ‘get their just dues’ right now. I feel that is one of the reasons why wars continue non-stop throughout centuries.

I heard an account of warring factions killing one another over some age-old conflict, which was taking place next to an orphanage. They were too busy fighting to concern themselves with the safety of the children. Mother Teresa came to protect and save the children. The ‘warriors’ actually stopped fighting while she took the children to safety. They then resumed fighting. This, to me, is an example of people who have failed to develop their spiritual awareness. Amen

One of the ways spirits progress, in the many levels of heaven, is by helping those on lower levels learn about the importance of Love. The dear loving angels even go into the dark planes on occasion, to help those suffering with painful guilt from their wrong doings. Love, when developed in the soul, has the power to remove blocks, overcome fears and helps develop peace and joy in a persons life.

The development of a soul’s love nature enables it to progress to higher levels of consciousness. As spirits progress in love, they will also progress to higher locations in the spirit world. If a person wants to invoke the highest power to elevate their soul’s condition, turning to God in prayer for the Gift of Divine Love brings the highest blessing and empowers the growth of the soul. As we turn to God in prayer for this great Love, this commences our transformation into divine souls.

It seems that many people are not aware of their potential to become divine. The people who have become aware of this possibility can help others learn by demonstrating this Love in their daily living and interchanges.

I will share here a lovely prose written by a loving soul who has been praying for God’s transforming Love for decades, March 3, 2010. Posted by amysword in Heart to Heart;

“True religion is the relationship between the human soul and the Soul of God. Colossal monuments have been raised to glorify the divine, but the only sanctuary God enters is the human heart whose door is opened by soul-felt longing.

“Sacred texts have been written in every language to honor the lives and teachings of those few who have been in true union with God. But the music and lingering fragrance of a visit from God can only be described by one who has received this Holy Guest.

“Prayer may be read, spoken, sung, invoked by incense and gesture, but only the soul’s earnest plea, however brief, is heard by God’s Ear.

“Moral laws have governed billions of people for thousands of years, but God’s one Law of Love fulfills every single demand for leading a virtuous life.

“You may find evidence of God in the majesty of Nature and infinity of Space, but only in the eyes of humanity do you see a pure reflection of the Divine and the object of God’s immortal Love.”

From ‘New Testament Revelations’ by Jesus: “The Oahspe Bible” reveals the condition of its spirit authors by the way they write, and what they write about. They give evidence of an ancient civilization, and the conditions on earth at the time they lived, even the false notions which they held during their earth life, despite the lapse of centuries.

*Written by John Ballou Newbrough (1828-1891), an American dentist who reported to have received it by automatic writing. The Oahspe Bible was published in 1882, purporting to contain a history of the earth for twenty four thousand years, in which “new revelations” from “the Ambassadors of the angel hosts of heaven [were] prepared and revealed to man in the name of Jehovah…”

“This Oahspe Bible is a repository of ideas and moral laws that existed for many centuries before the dawn of what we call our civilization. The spirit writers show a steady growth toward a standard of conduct maintained by many diverse societies and cultures, and exhibit the same adherence to the laws of God which govern the development of the natural human love. Basically, among all peoples of divergent races, humans have striven, consciously or unconsciously, toward the expression and fulfillment of these laws of conduct which were given them when God implanted them with a soul. This body of work evidences this slow development through many ages and manifestations toward a greater consciousness of and obedience to these commandments of God. This was before the time when God made available the Divine Love to all beloved souls, when I proclaimed the glad tidings that this Love, which gives Immortality to all who seek at-Onement with God, was attainable through prayers to our beloved Creator.

“The spirit writers could deal only with that phase of the soul’s slow and arduous turning to the knowledge of the true God, and their obedience to the laws which were laid down for their happiness and salvation as souls created in His Image. The Oahspe Bible does not include the prophecy of the rebestowal of God’s Love. Only the prophets of the Old Testament, attuned to the voice of God through the ministering angels, conveyed the message that foretold of my coming, and the advent of the new Law — God’s Divine Love.”

Note: To follow the Way of spiritual progress, Pray for Faith, long to receive God’s Grace, and you’ll become born-again in your Souls’ Love nature.  Amen

A message from Jesus of Nazareth, through James E Padgett, early in the 20th century, he wrote:

“I would like to confirm that all my four brothers and three sisters were born in Egypt and my family remained there for about ten years. While there, my father set up a successful trade as a carpenter and made our household a comfortable one, with all the conveniences available to workmen at that time. Our home in Egypt was in a considerable town called Heliopolis, not far from Cairo. We stayed with relatives who had welcomed us, and enabled us to make a start in the new country. With us was quite a community of Jewish people, for we congregated together for safety as well as for community life, with a place for worship, a place for cleansing of women and also an elementary school, mainly to teach the fundamentals of the Jewish religion and the ability to write and enhance our understanding of the Scriptures.

“For these reasons, my father hesitated to dismantle the home in which we lived and return to Palestine. He also hesitated because conditions in Judea continued to be unfavorable even after the death of Herod. The ruler Archelaus, who followed him, continued in his unhappy ways; much blood flowed in Judea, and there was great unrest. It was ten years after my birth that Archelaus, who had been demoted to Ethnarch of Judea, was deposed and sent off as an exile to Gaul. Even then, conditions did not improve much because of the hostility of the people toward their Roman overlords.

“My father and mother, after much hesitation, decided to break up their home and return to Nazareth. Mother was homesick for her people, and she pointed out that conditions in Galilee were better than in Judea. I was ten years old when our family moved to Nazareth. I made acquaintance with my cousin John, later known as the Baptist. The story of an angel coming to direct my father to return to Judea after the death of Herod is not true. I know this because my father has informed me the truth regarding this incident.”

All seekers of truth need to search with their own heart; it can be found if one sincerely wants to know, and if they accept that some information they had been given is not correct, and needs to be replaced with new, truthful information. Amen

In the 1950s, a series of messages was received by Dr. Daniel Samuels from Jesus of Nazareth, “21 New Testament Revelations by Jesus.” They followed in line with what Mr. Padgett had received earlier in the century. Here’s an excerpt from one:

Revelation #18, The First Supposed Miracle

“The first supposed miracle is that of my having fed thousands of hungry listeners who were without food, and who, simply by my supposed powers, were supplied bread and water on the occasion of my preaching to them in the hills of Trans-Jordan. Well, I must say that the many people who ate with me that supper, ate fish and bread, wine, even figs and dates as well, which the New Testament does not mention. But this food had been either brought along with them or, as in the case of fish, had been caught from the fishing boat of my disciples and then cooked by some of the women who were present at the time. In other words, the meal which we all enjoyed was a substantial one, and was one that was retained in the recordings of my activities in Trans-Jordan by later writers who received it from my disciples. But this meal had nothing miraculous about it, except that all food is miraculous as it comes from the Heavenly Father for the sustenance of His children, but it was not a miracle in the sense that the New Testament interprets and conceives it to be.

“During that same evening, my disciples took their fishing boat and turned their way back to Galilee in the vicinity of Capernaum. I remained behind to dismiss the multitude, which was considerably less than four or five thousand, then withdrew to pray. I later took one of the little boats of the many anchored near the shore and made my way in it that night. As the wind was strong, I was eventually able to catch up with them. They were happy to see me and took me onto their fishing boat, but with the moonlight shining on my white robe, it appeared, as they later told me, that I looked like a ghost, and that standing up near the bow of the boat, it seemed that I was walking on the waves. From this episode has come the story of my having walked on the waters, which also has had a deterrent effect upon my mission as the Messiah.” Amen
