From page 414, in The Gospel of God’s Love, The Padgett Messages: “The social life is beyond all conception. The spirits have their times of visiting, and times of staying in their homes; of many pleasures as well as of work and helping spirits and mortals; of singing, music and laughter as well as of prayer, contemplation of deep spiritual truths. Yes, in the lighter social pleasures, as well as in the solitary meditations and aspirations of the soul’s progress, there is happiness, enjoyment and freedom from those things which defile or make inharmonious the thoughts and desires of these spirits. All is gladness, and there are none who have the solemn downcast countenance that many of earth imagine portrays the truly rightous and redeemed mortals.

“Love knows no sadness; and as the soul speaks its condition by the appearance of the spirit body, the soul being full of gladness and joy, the spirit body’s countenance can express only these emotions of the soul. This is the result of the law which declares nothing can be hidden, and every spirit must show forth the truth of its condition.

“There are no jeweled cities or streets of gold, or pearly gates, or other things which the book ascribed to me sets forth in its attempt to describe heaven. These things would not be made of gold or diamond or the like, for when such materials are compared to the beauty of the things which heaven really contains, they are as the faint light of a candle compared to the light of your noonday sun. Truly, the mind of man cannot conceive of the glories that await the love-lit soul when it comes to its heavenly home.

“There is another misconception that the preacher had, following the teachings of Revelation, and that is that the Kingdom of Heaven is a walled city – the ‘New Jerusalem’ – in which all the spirits of the redeemed live, singing their loud hosannas to God. There are cities, of which your earth cities may be called correspondences; but there are also villages and hamlets, homes in the country, surrounded by green fields and shady vales, through which run rivers and streams of silvery hue and clear as crystal, also placid lakes which afford the pleasures of boatiing, sailing and other amusements. Each spirit is provided the place that is most attractive to where they wish to be.” (End of message)

The Natural Heavens is inclusive of earth and expands ‘outward’ through six spheres (the natural heavens ends at the 6th intellectual sphere, and the 7th Heaven is the transitional sphere, where spirits become eligible to enter the Celestial Heavens). Our limited way of understanding space, does not serve to describe the huge expanse contained in the Natural Heavens. The planes which are lower than earth are ordinarily called the dark planes or the hells. John’s message points out that there are two distinct pathways of spiritual development: the natural or ‘spiritual path’ and the divine, or ‘soulful path.’ It is everyone’s free will choice to decide which pathway to follow. You have the free will to choose your destiny.

The souls who do not believe there is a God will eventually progress on the natural love pathway, developing their intellect and material interests, and live under the jurisdiction of the laws that govern the natural love progression. In order to progress on the Divine Love pathway, one gets in touch with their soul’s desires, despite an unawareness of what that means. Here, we learn that we have a love nature which motivates us to want to become a more sensitive and caring person. We may ‘want to do God’s will’ in our life (God’s will is that all souls become at-One in Love). If we pray to be blessed by the Holy Spirit, we will receive Divine Love, because the function of this special agency is to convey Love from God’s Soul to the souls of prayerful people.

John continues his descriptions of the third natural sphere, for those who have Divine Love in their souls: “Your material sun and moon do not appear in this heaven, for the effulgence of light from the Father’s Love eclipses and eliminates the light of these material creations of the mortal world. There are homes of the grandest splendor and beauty, suited to the conditions of the various spirits, which have in them everything that will bring happiness to their occupants and visiting friends; musical instruments and books, paintings and furniture of every kind, fitted to bring contentment and joy to the spirits. They also have a realization of peace and rest from the cares that you mortals have with you all through your earth life. Above and more important than all, is the wonderful atmosphere of love which makes all these spirits realize that they are the children of the Loving Heavenly Father. (Still more to come…)

Dear readers, I’m sharing information we’ve been blessed to receive from Celestial Spirits about heaven. I will quote from, “The Gospel of God’s Love” Book One, The Padgett Messages, page 412. Found in a message titled, A description of the Third Sphere, from John, the Apostle:

“Heaven is not one universal place where all souls go, irrespective of their development; but in that heaven there are many spheres, in which mortals will find homes and happiness according to their spiritual development. There are two distinct spiritual pathways, one develops the natural love and the other can change the soul into a divine being.” [John wanted to describe the appearance and condition of just one of the heavens, and since mortals have heard more about the third heaven, than any of the others, he confined his description to that place.]

“It is occupied by the spirits of mortals who have received considerable divine love, as well as those who have progressed to a greater extent in the purification of their natural love and the expansion of their intellect. The latter, however, do not remain very long in this heaven, but progress to the fourth, where there are more opportunities relating to the mind’s advancement. While those progressing in the soul development and those progressing in the intellectual development are all in the Third Heaven, they occupy different and distinct planes in that heaven. Those things that attract the one class do not attract the other, and there is very little intermingling of these spirits – except that those who know of the divine love sometimes attempt to show those who do not the desirability of obtaining it.

“The condition of the soul to a large degree ‘makes’ the heaven of the spirit. In God’s providence, this Creator has made the surroundings and appearance of these environments of heaven suitable to the condition of the soul. The appearance of this heaven to those who have divine love in their souls far exceeds the capacity of your mortal language to describe. But … I may say that for these spirits there is everything to make them happy to the extent of their capacity to receive and enjoy it. There are trees and flowers, hills and dales, rivers and lakes, and above all, the wonderful atmosphere that is created by the Love of the Almighty, and gives the glorious light that illuminates and gives life to all who live in it.” (Much more to come…)

Hello again, I’ve been on vacation from my Blog site. But I’m happy to resume sharing the angels’ teachings, about how one can prepare themself for a bright and happy entry level plane when they go into ‘heaven’. It seems that people, in general, are not willing to think about ‘going to heaven’ because they don’t know what that means, exactly. A good place to start is to have the desire to develop your spiritual qualities; have faith in a Higher Power; and accept that you are a beloved child of an awesome Loving Creator.

An erroneous concept, which holds people back from seeking forgiveness, is the false belief in ‘eternal damnation’. The Creator of human souls is a Loving and forgiving God, Who Loves everyone and is willing to forgive sins when a prayerful, penitent person sincerely prays for Mercy. The angels say, “It’s difficult to think of heavenly things when in hell”. Changing one’s condition is ordinarily a slow process, but when you understand and accept that changes can be made, then you can pray, with faith, that God will help you make those changes.

Pray, with heartfelt longings, for God’s Love and Mercy. Be truly sorry for having broken the laws of Love. Acknowledge that all souls can progress, no matter how far they have fallen into despair. Learn that God Loves you, that you need to learn to love yourself and that you can develop the love nature of your soul, through prayers for God’s Love and Forgiveness. 

The angels have written that when low spirits become weary of being congratulated for all the evil they did on earth, from fellow low spirit companions, they seek solace by going to a dark place, away from the taunts of others.

When seeking souls realize that (1) All their unloving choices, (2)Their desires to be in control,  (3) Their selfish efforts to acquire what they need, aren’t bringing them joy or fulfillment, it’s a good idea to change their ways of thinking and acting. It’s far better to accept our mistakes, and start making better choices, while still in our earth life, so it can be reversed, before we find ourself in the dark planes known as the hells. But if a person does find herself in darkness, after leaving the earth life, she needs to know that she can pray for Mercy; when being truly sorry for her wrong doings, and when she wants to change, she can start her progression toward the heavenly Light. Amen

The previous Blog was quoted from “The Gospel of God’s Love”, The Padgett Messages, page 187, about The Resurrection. It was Jesus’ Mission to teach about what the Gift of God’s Divine Love could accomplish in a soul, through sincere and prolonged prayer. And to tell followers that they, too, could receive this Love, and become transformed into divine souls.

To continue: “By the power which Jesus possessed, he disseminated his body of flesh into the surrounding atmosphere, and retained only the spiritual body in which he afterward appeared to the disciples and others. “When he appeared at the meeting of the apostles (where Thomas, “the doubter” was present), he recalled to his form material elements, so that, in appearance, the body was much like flesh and blood as when it was placed into the tomb… .

“The flesh and blood which encloses the spirit form of humans is continually changing, in obedience to the ordinary laws of nature as understood by mortals. And when Jesus, who understood and had power to call into operation other laws of nature, caused such other laws to operate, then the dissemination of the elements of the flesh body took place, and he was left with only the spirit form.

“[The absence of Jesus’ physical body] has been a mystery to humankind since the time of the discovery of its absence by the watchmen at his tomb. And because of it being such a mystery, and as an only explanation of such disappearance, people have believed and taught that his body of flesh and blood actually arose from the dead — and therefore that the real body of flesh and blood of mortals will also arise in what they call the “great resurrection day.” But no body of flesh and blood arose; and the spirit form of Jesus did not remain in the tomb after the dissemination of the material body, for no tomb or other place could confine this spirit form.

“You will remember that on the third day Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene, who was most intimate and familiar with the appearance of Jesus, and yet she did not recognize him … if he had retained his body of flesh and blood do you not suppose he would have been recognized? I am informed this is the true explanation of the disappearance of Jesus’ material body. St. Luke.”

Suggestion: Pray for God’s Divine Love and become born again in soul essence. Amen

After expressing my understanding of the angels messages about Easter, I realized that I hadn’t touched upon ‘the Resurrection,’ which is central to the Easter celebration. The definition of resurrection is ‘bringing back to life.’ When a person ‘dies’ it is only the flesh body that no longer contains animated life. The spirit, the soul encased in a spirit body, leaves the flesh body, but never ceases to live, retaining all its awareness, consciousness and memories. An important point to mention here is that no human being has ever gone into the spirit world in their flesh body. The spirit world does not have the necessary elements to sustain , or supply, the requirements of an animal body. There’s no oxygen; the temperature is not within a body’s tolerance, and many other factors.

I acknowledge that many of the doctrines and traditions of the churches remain unchanged for great lengths of time. The human soul has the opportunity to progress in Love through sincere and prolonged prayers to our Creator, the Source of Divine Love. This Divine Grace has the Power to change the human soul into a Divine soul, transforming it into an Angel. Love is the ingredient of all knowledge. When a soul becomes transformed by Divine Love it acquires wisdom, which enables it to comprehend spiritual truths. The human mind is limited in its ability to grasp Truth. This explains why it takes so long for mental beliefs to evolve, grow and change. As the person grows in their Love nature to higher levels of awareness, they are able to grasp truth about spiritual life and the great joys to come.

I will include a quote from “The Gospel of God’s Love – The Padgett Messages” delivered from St. Luke, on page 187: …I have been told by those who were present (at Jesus’ crucifixion) that the Bible description of his burial in the tomb of Joseph was true. The body was buried in the tomb, which was then sealed and a guard set over it to prevent anyone from approaching and interfering with the body, because Jesus had predicted that in three days he would arise again.

After the tomb was sealed, Jesus arose, and without his body of flesh, passed from the tomb, and descended into the lower spheres where the dark spirits lived in their ignorance and suffering, and preached to them the rebestowal of the gift of immortality.”
