“…It must be known as a truth that the salvation of human beings, or their soul progress toward at-Onement with God is an individual matter solely. Humans as aggregations, or in church communities, are not redeemed from sin, nor as such can they have any relationship with the Father or receive God’s Divine Love – which is the only true salvation.

“Let’s consider for a moment what possible connection there can be between these soul qualities of God and the death and blood of Jesus. God is the creator of life and death, and also of blood and flesh, God can destroy as well as create. Had the sins of man called for the sacrifice of that which was mere flesh and blood, then a God who demanded such a payment – and this implies that such a God was ‘wrathful’ and could only be appeased by something that he could not of and by himself obtain – would not possibly be satisfied with that which he had created, and over which he still had absolute control, and which he could destroy and make nonexistent at any time he pleased.

“Jesus’ life was already a possession of God’s, and when he surrendered that life, he did not give to God anything that he did not already own. And when his blood flowed on the cross, it was not that which God could have made flow at any time and in any manner. So the absurdity of such doctrine is too apparent for serious consideration; its logical meaning is that God was demanding a debt that had long been unpaid, and he would be satisfied only with the death of  a living creature (that of his best beloved son) and the flowing of his blood. And yet, with all this demand that had been sounding down the ages, he became satisfied and his wrath was assuaged by the trickling of that blood and seeing that creature die.

“The simple deduction of such a proposition is that God, in order to settle a debt which was owing to him, accepted in payment thereof that which was already his, and which no power or being in all the universe could have taken from him.

“Now I say all this reverently, but the fact is that the mere assertion of such doctrine is so blasphemous that no treatment of it, showing its falsity, could possibly be irreverent.”

Quotes taken from message titled, ‘ Not by death and blood’ found in “The Gospel of God’s Love” Book One, The Padgett Messages.

Orthodox Christians generally believe, and their preachers and evangelists declare in sermons, and the teachers of Bible classes instruct their students, that the blood of Jesus and his death on the cross were the two factors in his career on earth that save men from their sins and satisfy the great penalty of death which hangs over them because of man’s first disobedience and the sins that followed therefrom.

This doctrine has prevailed in the beliefs and teachings of Christianity ever since the church became established by the convention that met in pursuance of the orders of Constantine, when the books that now constitute the Bible were given the sanctions of the church as canonical. Before this time, some of the early Fathers believed in the doctrine of the atonement as above stated, and controversies between them and others who did not subscribe to this doctrine were very bitter and ‘unchristian’ at times, according to the Christianity that prevailed among the early followers of the Master, according to his teachings.

It may be surprising to some that I announce the falsity of these beliefs and their utter ineffectiveness in enabling these sincere people to obtain that which they so earnestly desire. But such is the truth and truth never compromises with untruth and never permits the erroneous beliefs of such a sincere mortal to swerve in one iota from the reality and consequences of that false belief.

The great injury that this false belief has done to humanity, and is now doing, will persist until the belief in truth shall supercede the belief in that which is false. When human beings believe in the doctrine that I have stated, they become satisfied, and knowingly or not, remain in a state of false security, not attempting to develop their spiritual qualities. Their mental beliefs may increase in strength, but their soul communions with the Father, and their growth and expansion in soul development becomes stagnant and seems as if it were dead.

There is only one way in which man can come into at-Onement with the Father, and that is the way that will make the soul of man like the Soul of God, and a partaker of his Divine qualities of Love and life; soul communion with God.

Excerpt from, The Gospel of God’s Love, ‘Seek the Truth’: I want to tell you that when humans learn the truths of the Father, they will become happy and wise. The truths have in them only those principles that create happiness and wisdom. I know that people believe many things because of their being ancient, but such basis for truth does not itself, because of being old, afford any certainty that what is accepted contains truth.

Truth is a thing very old, and existed for many thousands of centuries before the times these ancient writers lived. In fact, those days of the writers in comparison to what had gone on before, are as yesterdays. Therefore you will see that the declarations of those writers should not unquestioningly be received as having authority merely because they are ancient.

Truth of those days, and of the long ages prior thereto, and for the present time are all the same; as truth never changes, or assumes new forms, no matter what the conditions of mortals may be as to intellectual or spiritual development. They may be revealed today and are constantly being revealed as time progresses; they should be accepted with as much credence and satisfaction as any truths that were disclosed in ancient days. Human beings are just as suseptible now to the reception of truths, in their spiritual perceptions, as they were in times of Abraham and Moses.

The mind of man was given to him to be exercised in the way of investigation and search, and never was it contemplated in his creation that the time would come when he should accept anything as the ultimate truth and cease his inquiries. For truths are so many and great and deep that, so far, in the mortal universe, man has acquired only a smattering of these truths. And to rest supinely in this acquirement, under the belief that there is nothing more in existence that man may know, violates and subverts the very object of his creation.

What was believed centuries ago is still believed today, causing stagnation of the intellect. People must seek and accept or reject as their own conscience and reasoning powers dictate. And therein will be freedom of mind and of will, as well. The soul has been smothered in these dogmatic beliefs and as a consequence its develoment has been slow and knowledge of things spiritual has not come to them. Amen

“…Then I sought for more information; I learned that this Love had been given to humans and spirits at the time Jesus was born on earth, and that it was free for all who might seek for it in the way he taught. I thought of this new revelation, but let many years go by before I became convinced that I might benefit from seeking this way and this Love. After awhile I began to seek; but understand that I, and spirits like me, who lived in the spheres where the mind furnishes our pursuits and enjoyments, could not enter the Soul Sphere, but the inhabitants of that sphere could come into our sphere without hinderance.

“At times I met and conversed with some of these inhabitants. On one occasion I met one called John (Apostle of Jesus), who was a most beautiful and luminous spirit. In our conversation he told me of this Divine Love of God, and of the great love and mission of Jesus. He told me some truths taught by Jesus and the way to obtain this Love, and urged me to seek for it.

“Strange to me, there were not any of the intellectual qualities required to be exercised in seeking for this Love – only the longings and aspirations of my soul and the exercise of my will. It seemed so simple, that I commenced to doubt if there was any reality in what I was told, I hesitsted to follow the advice. But John was so loving and his countenance so wonderful, that I concluded to try. I commenced to pray to this God and tried to exercise faith as I was told.

“After awhile, most surprising of all things to me, I commenced to have new, unaccountable sensations, and with them a feeling of happiness that I had never before experienced, which made me think there must be some truth in what I was told. I continued to pray harder and believe with more faith, until at last the great awakening came that I had in me a Love that never before was in my soul. And a happiness that all my intellectual pursuits had never been able to supply.

“I became filled with This Love and at last entered the Soul Sphere; what I saw is beyond description. I learned what true Immortality is; only Divine Love can bring Immortality to souls.” End of message.

Excerpts from a message by Socrates, found in ‘True Gospel Revealed Anew by Jesus’, Vol. I …”After I became a spirit I realized my belief in continuation of life after death, and lived in the spirit world a great many years after Jesus came before I learned and believed in the larger truth of Immortality. When I taught I had only a hope, which was almost a certainty, that I would continue to live through all eternity, from the deductions and observations of the workings of nature.

“I had heard of the visitations of spirits, even though I never had personal experiences in that direction, I readily believed it to be true. My conviction of a future continuance was so strong that it amounted to a certainty, and when I comforted Plato and my other disciples, I told them that they must not say, Socrates died, but only his body died, his soul will live forever in fields Elysian.

“And I did not die, as soon as my breath left me, which was not very painful, even though the fatal hemlock did its work sure and quickly, I went into the spirit world a living entity, full of the happiness that my beliefs gave me. I was met by some of my disciples who passed over before me and who had progressed in the intellectual development. I thought I was in the home of the blessed; I continued there for many years and enjoyed the exchange of minds and feasts of reason.

“I continued to progress until, at last, I entered the highest intellectual sphere and became a beautiful and bright spirit, so I was told, and taught things of a mind developed. My happiness was beyond my conception when on earth. My friends and disciples came and our reunions were always joyous. Our existence was a continuous feast of bright and momentous thoughts interchanged.

“I observed that the condition of the soul determines the appearance of the spirit. For long years my life went on this way, until in my wanderings I found a sphere I could not enter. I was told that it was one of the Soul Spheres in which the Master was a spirit called Jesus, who had established a New Kingdom, since I had come to the spirit world. He taught that only those who had received the Divine Love of God could enter the Soul Spheres.”

I realize there are intellegent and dedicated researchers who try earnestly to discover how things work, what happened in the past, how to make life better for humankind, and other avenues of investigation. I have learned that it’s challenging to find the actual truth about anything without taking into consideration the spiritual components of that study.

There are Two Pathways of spiritual development; the Natural Path and the Divine Path. I acknowledge that many people on earth, it may be the majority, do not accept the existence of a Higher Power. And that’s okay. God created souls with ‘free will’ and does not interfere with how a person uses that gift. It seems to me that one would benefit immensly if they would seek to understand their field of study with the perceptions of their soul.

Now, of course, one cannot develop their inner-knowing ‘intuition’ unless they believe they have spiritual perceptions. Is that what’s known as a ‘catch 22?’ When a person wants to be the best they can be, and tries to be loving, kind, helpful and giving, they will attract spirit guides who will help them achieve their goals. One needs to be dedicated to finding truth, presevere and never give up.

I felt angelicly influenced to write on my Blog Project, without having any idea what the subject was going to be. I’m going-on-faith that my guardian’s influences will help seeking souls find what they are looking for. In order to grow spiritually, one needs to be willing to change. ‘Change is the Law Eternal.’ If we are not willing to change, we will not be able to progress.

The Natural Love spirits are very happy in their spiritual surroundings, when they reach the higher spheres, they can not imagine anything could be more wonderful or glorious than what they are experiencing. When they see a bright angel telling other spirits about the Celestial Realms, they pay no attention to the conversation. But if you learn of the Way to the Higher Heavens while you are still on earth, and make the effort to see if it works for you, you may discover the most wonderful Gift the Heavenly Father has made available to all created souls.

Elsewhere in these Blogs, I’ve been presenting for your study, the Way can be found how to receive God’s Gift of Grace – Divine Love, which can change you from a human to an angel. Amen

I missed my intended goal of publishing the 80th Blog by my 80th birthday, but we’re still in my birthday month. The Party was amazing, relatives near and far, came to our lovely Victorian home in Santa Cruz, CA. It’s 105 years old and has had many improvements. It has a double back yard, driveway area, and front yard, not fenced.

Relatives came from Alaska; younger son, his wife, daughter and granddaughter. From the washington, DC area; Son (twin of my daughter who lives with me) his 4 grown sons, wife and 2nd daughter. My younger daughter came from Portland, OR, with her 1st baby; their 7 month old son is a precious child. Others came from Baltimore, MD, and local areas; Southern California, San Francisco, Oakland, Palo Alto, San Juan Bautista, Aptos, Scotts Valley, Soquel and Santa Cruz.

Fifty relatives and friends gathered, starting on July 6th, through the 9th. The mother of my son’s 4 boys, wrote on Facebook that all her boys (men actually) were in Santa Cruz. A couple who live in Santa Cruz, and were associated with our Spiritual Family in the 1970’s, responded and asked about the occasion. They were told that it’s their grandmother’s 80th birthday. Those dear friends asked if they could ‘crash the party’. Of course they could, I would have invited them if I knew they wanted to attend.

I realize this Blog isn’t conveying much ‘spiritual information’ from the angels’ teachings, I am just reporting about a special occasion in my life. Several of the friends and realtives had not seen one another for a quarter of a century. For example, My younger daughter and I went to visit my son in Alaska in 1986, when his duaghter was 4 months old, and this was the first time I saw her again. Her Mom and Dad have visited us in Santa Cruz, but their daughter didn’t come with them on those occasions.

To include a spiritual note, I will conclude with my personal experience of how blessed I feel for having turned to God for help and Love. In the 1960’s, I felt ‘lost’ since I didn’t know how to find an upward direction. I now know that I am a spiritual being – a soul, and when I learned about God’s Gift of Love, which I can receive into my soul through prayer, I began my spiritual development path and will continue to follow it until I become born-again in God’s Grace. Amen

I’d like to write to Readers about your spiritual journey. The spiritual part of our lives is a great deal larger than the material part. I presume that if you’re interested in learning more about the Angel’s teachings, you want to progress spiritually, and develop your souls’ Love and Wisdom, to grasp spiritual Truth.

When a person is feeling ‘lost’ in this world, and unhappy with their daily situation, it’s a good idea to seek-to-understand the truth about your spiritual options. This would require that you become aware that you Are a spiritual being – a Soul. In order to become ‘un-stuck’ in a repeat situation, one needs to change their pattern of thinking and acting in order to experience a more fulfilling way of life.

Have you tried prayer or meditation? You might say, you don’t know how to pray. You can learn only if you try, and put your heart into your effort. In order to learn Spiritual Truths, one must ask, through sincere soulful longings, to be guided in the direction they need to go to become more enlightened. Find a peaceful place to pray, away from daily distractions. Accept that you will be guided by spiritual ‘inspiration’, when you have faith in higher Powers. You may not recognize the input right away, but if you listen to your intuition, inner knowing, you will feel ‘inspired’ about the next steps you need to take.

One of the ‘set-backs’ we’ve learned, is that it is very difficult to Change what we have accepted as being true, and to ‘let it go’. I have discovered that we can not hold onto a false belief and, at the same time, consider a new concept as being helpful to lead us toward a more spiritually-aware way of living.

It’s good to recognize that Faith in a Higher Power will strengthen your ability to hear that ‘little quiet voice’ of guidance, which often accompanies your angelic influences. There are more Angels in Heaven, than there are people on earth, and they wait for seeking souls to ask for their help and protection.

Suggestion: Set aside a certain time of day to be still and pray. Know in your heart that you are special to God and the Angels, and that they’ll be happy to help guide and protect you, when you ask with a humble heart. It’s up to you to take steps toward becoming transformed into a divine soul. Amen

Dear Readers seeking Spiritual Truth, I’ve been sharing information which has come from Celestial Angels who want to help Humankind come into alignment with God’s Will. A major stumbling block is that children are born into families who are following traditional teachings which are filled with man-made changes. These well-meaning people pass doctrines onto their children, which they believe are true.

The perfect laws of God, which govern all aspects of life, take into consideration a persons intentions, but even if a person unintentionally leads others astray from truth, they will be accountable. In a conversation between spirits, who had been leaders of Spiritual Movements on earth, one said to the other; “You are more fortunate than I, for you had fewer followers, and therefore, fewer corrections to make for the teachings you spread which were untruthful.”

It is extremely difficult for spirits to correct errors they made on earth, spirit/mortal communication is not an exact science, to say the least. It is nearly impossible for a medium to receive a transmitted message without putting some of their own preconceived thoughts into the message.

Each individual soul needs to seek and find their own pathway toward spiritual enlightenment. In my experience, the way to achieve this is by ‘opening the heart’ through prayer and meditation. The Way a person can find out about their souls potential to receive God’s Gift of Grace is to go within their inner knowing – intuition, and ask for guidance. Everyone, without exception, attracts spirit helpers who correspond to, and support, their chosen direction in life.

Like attracts like. If you want to develop the highest potential of your soul, you will attract a divine angel to protect and guide you. If you desire to do God’s will in your life, you will receive Divine Love; it’s God’s will that all souls become at-One with their Creator in Love.

Everyone on earth has misconceptions about religion, and what the next phase of life will hold for them. Everyone will reap what they have sown; it is a law. If you want to be happy and fulfilled when you become a spirit, you can start now making that become a reality.

Pray for Mercy for anything you’ve done which was out-of-harmony with love. Desire to activate the highest potential of your soul. Pray for God’s transforming Love to come into your soul and have absolute Faith that you will receive It. Amen

I believe my guardians suggested the above title for a Blog, then I started receiving thoughts about what the angels have told us about that subject. For one thing, since we get back what we give out, it’s a good practice to ‘do unto others, what you’d like to have done unto you.’ I’ve heard an update of that golden rule, which is similar; do unto others what ‘they would like you to do unto them’. However it is said, it’s a good rule, to help your spiritual development, when you strive to be kind and loving to everyone.

There’s a certain person, who may be seeking a position in the political arena, who made a mistake about history in her talk, and her followers decided to change their own understanding about what the history books say. It reminds me of followers of certain teachings, who become set in their ways and don’t seem willing to grow in their ability to learn higher spiritual truths. As people progress in their spiritual development, by praying for God’s transorming Grace – Divine Love, they will be able to grasp truths which they had never previously heard.

I do understand that people who enjoy being angry or want to control others, aren’t interested in ‘striving to become a loving or caring person’. The angels messages even explain that when these people pass into the dark planes in their next phase of life, they feel more comfortable there, than if they were to go into lighter planes.

For those who want Truth and Love to come into their soul, it is something that can be obtained through seeking for it from an outside Source. Have Faith that you have a spiritual nature, your soul, which can receive the Gift of Grace – the Subsatnce of God’s Love. Also know that ‘truth’ will be growing in its expanse, the higher you progress in the Love.

When one says, “I know the Truth…” about a certain subject, that knowledge of Truth will change and grow as the wisdom of the soul expands. The truth ‘seems to change’ because ones ‘ability to grasp Truth’ increases as they continue receiving more Divine Love, through prayers, looking within and seeking spiritual wisdom.

The reason Love is more Powerful then Hate is because there is no limit to how high one can progress in the Love. Hate takes one down to the lowest levels, and there they will remain until they commence seeking for Love and forgiveness. Amen
