About the Crucifixion, from Samuel the Prophet

“I  desire to write about the scene depicted to you tonight by words and music at the church. I was present at the time of the crucifixion of Jesus and saw all that took place. Many of the scenes that were so forcibly presented to your imagination, never had any reality in fact. When Jesus was crucified there was no great concourse of people, he was considered a common malefactor, paying the penalty that followed the violation of the law. Of course there were soldiers and a number of the Jewish Sanhedrin and a few followers present, but there was no unusual crowd to witness the execution.

“The words that Jesus was supposed to have uttered at that time, were not uttered by him; no words that he may have spoken could have been heard by any of his followers, for they were kept away from the immediate scene of his execution; it was only after he was pronounced dead and ready to be removed from the cross that his followers were permitted to approach and take his body from the cross. He died bravely, without fear or doubt as to his future. He did not utter any words, he did not call upon the Father for help, and all reports of what he said at that time are not true, but only the imaginings of those who wrote of him in later times.

“There was no sudden breaking up of nature, the accounts of graves opening and the bodies arising therefrom, being seen and talked with, are purely fiction and have no foundation in fact. Long years of believing in these events have become established over the centuries. Why people should want to believe in these things is hard to understand, for they have no significance except to make a dramatic impression regarding the death of Jesus. This drama, if it had occurred, would not afford one iota of help in the way of saving a human soul, or teaching that soul the true way to the Father’s Kingdom.

“Jesus has not been present tonight at any of the churches where his death is celebrated. This worship of him is very distasteful to him and a thing he does not want to witness. Jesus desires that humankind should worship the one true Father, the One he worships, and for them to receive God’s blessings of Divine Love.

“I will say goodnight, Your brother in Christ, Samuel”

Suggestions about What to Pray For

In order for human beings to develop the highest potential of their soul they need to be humble and realize that the Gift of God’s Love is available to everyone, everywhere. This Gift from God can be received when a person wants to develop the innate potential of their soul to receive this special Blessing of Grace.

Thinking about wanting to ask God for the Gift of Divine Love, will not bring the Love into your soul. Wishing that you could receive the Love, will probably not elicit a response from God. The desire to activate the highest potential of your soul, and receive God’s Divine Love, requires that longings come from your heart, and that you pray for Mercy for anything you’ve done which was out of harmony with love; to be repentent for your transgressions.

In order to come up from an unloving condition and gain peace, joy and fulfillment in your life, radical changes need to be made from any negative habit patterns you’ve created in everyday living. One needs to consider that they have opportunities of which they have not yet learned. I acknowledge that many people have rejected the reality of there being a Higher Power because of the chaos they see in the world.

Everyone is responsible for the development of their own soul. If you are attracted to Get-on-the-Band-Wagon for a certain cause, it’s a good idea to consider that it may not be helping to bring acceptance and harmony to the situation. Live and let-live, is a reasonable attitude to attain; but the natural human condition has not gained enough strength to overcome all the negativity which prevails. As long as there are negative emotions being activated on earth, there will be low spirits encouraging  these to become intensified.

Suggestion; Even if you cannot change the negative actions of those around you, you do have the power to change your own. You have the gift of free will, with which even God will not interfere. But God will answer your sincere, heartfelt prayers. Pray for the situation to improve. Pray to become the best example you can be. Pray for God’s Love to give you the strength to overcome all negative influences. Ask the guardian angels to protect you from harm and to keep the low spirits at bay.

Even though you cannot change the world, you can change yourself, and that’s a good place to start. Amen

Thoughts Are Things that God Hears

I awoke this morning filled with the awareness and consciousness of how much God Loves all humankind. God’s perfect laws, governing the universe, will bring eventual harmony; but in the meantime people can continue to exercise their free will choices out-of-harmony with love and continue to reap the consequences.

God hears our thoughts and knows our intentions. We can pray for  help, protection, guidance and Divine Love, wherever we are and whenever we wish. There are no secrets from God. If you feel influenced by others who don’t know about the power of prayer, that needn’t stop you from praying, and receiving the highest help available to humankind. You don’t need to shout your prayer, or even say it aloud (unless you prefer). You don’t even need to whisper because God knows what’s in your heart.

Here’s a beautiful quote from Martin Luther; “Prayer is a powerful thing, for God has bound and tied himself thereto. None can believe how powerful prayer is, and know what it is able to effect, but those who have learned it by experience.”

You have the free will choice to do things your own way or ask for help. God never forces his will upon any of his beloved children. But if you want more Love in your life, it is available from a higher Power. God is Love. You can receive the Gift of God’s Love, if you want It. Love is the highest law and the ingredient of all knowledge.

Suggestion; Take advantage of receiving the greatest Gift available from the Source, the One who Created your soul; ask God to bestow the Gift of Grace upon you and the Holy Spirit will convey that Love to your soul.

We are exceedingly blessed to have received this wonderful information from Celestial angels, over the past century. The availability of the Gift of God’s Grace was announced 2,000 years ago by our beloved brother Jesus, who was the first soul to receive It and become transformed into a divine soul, and become the Christ.

If you would like to develop the Christ-Potential in your soul, you will need to ask God to bestow the Gift of Divine Love upon you. A devout person seeking enlightenment needs to be humble and grateful for their blessings. Humility is the touchstone for an entrance into the Celestial heavens. If you desire to become a transformed soul, pray for Divine Love. Amen

Do You Want to Progress In Love?

There are two pathways of soul development; the purification of the natural human love and the transformation from a human being into a divine angel, by praying for and receiving Divine Grace, the Substance of our Creator’s Soul. Our beloved guardian angels have been trying to teach and guide humankind to become spiritually enlightened, for hundreds of years. But human beings have thinking, reasoning minds which do not understand spiritual truths.

If you want your life to be happy, fulfilled and peaceful, you need to change the way you go about your search for the greatest Gift which can be received from our Beloved Creator. You can learn that when you pray for God’s Divine Love and begin to become transformed by It, your natural love also becomes purified. But if you make the life-long effort to purify your natural love, by renouncing sin (anything done out-of-harmony with love) and the doing of good deeds, you do not become transformed into a divine soul.

Principles of Divine Love are Happiness and Wisdom. Spiritual wisdom is required in order to comprehend Spiritual Truths. The dear souls who have been devout, attending church regularly, working hard, helping others and being the best they can be, attain a certain degree of satisfaction from their loving life style; but they do not develop their potential to receive God’s Gift of Grace unless, or until, they earnestly pray for It.

Somewhere in the Padgett Messages it says; if a person makes the mistake of thinking Jesus is God, and is praying to Jesus for Divine Love, God understands that they believe they are asking for his great Gift of Love, and they receive It. If a person asks to be blessed by the Holy Spirit, they receive this Love because conveying God’s Grace to prayerful souls is the sole function of the Holy Spirit – that’s why it has the name ‘Holy’.

Suggestion; If you want to develop your soul’s Highest Potential, let God know that’s your humble desire; he will ‘get-it’ because he knows what’s in your heart. God wants all his beloved children to seek for the Grace of this great Gift of Love, available to all who seek for It with earnest, heartfelt longings.

It is up to each and every person to open their heart and find a way to connect with the great Over-Soul and commune soul-to-Soul in order to receive the Gift of God’s transforming Love. Amen

Share Truth about What Works for You

When we have the motivation to help others, a drive or prodding from our guardian spirits, to share spiritual teachings which have helped us find our way to greater peace and happiness, we need to follow these promptings in order to become more fulfilled in our daily activities, and interchanges with others.

That’s a  long sentence, but one which I have found is truthful. When I ignore my ‘impulses’ to write information on my Blog site, and share the wonderful messages received from Celestial Angels, I feel somewhat disheartened, for not doing something which may be helpful to souls-seeking-truth. So, even though I may repeat an important suggestion quite often, it may be something that could help a seeking soul find their way toward spiritual enlightenment.

It seems to me that I’ve been hearing more about people who become lost in their attempts to find their way to a happy and peaceful way of living their earth life. A person who is sincerely seeking spiritual truth and who wants to develop the highest potential of their soul, needs to do positive and loving things in order to develop their ability to know that there is a way out of their present unhappy condition.

The Laws of God governing the universe are accurate in their workings. All God’s beloved children are governed by these perfect laws. Everyone gets back what they’ve put out, or “One reaps what they have sown”. Perhaps one of the reasons the perfect laws of God are not acknowledged by everyone is because they don’t accept that there is anything in the universe which is perfect. I have Faith that God Is Perfect.

Change is the Law Eternal, is another immutable law. If you want good changes to come about in your life, you need to find good things, thoughts, activities, etc. to do everyday. If you want loving and positive events to be part of your daily experiences, you need to put your positive and loving thoughts and actions into your every-day routines.

One might say, or believe, that “It’s easy for you to say, you don’t know what’s happening in my life…” And of course that’s true, but perhaps you haven’t tried these suggestions either. In this months’ Guideposts, I read this appropriate saying; “God is speaking to all of us, all the time. The question is not, to whom does God talk? The question is, who’s listening?  Are you? Listen with your heart. Amen

About Incarnation from Samuel the Prophet

From The Gospel of god’s Love, page 76.

“I desire to write on the subject of how a soul is born and becomes an individual person. I agree with what Luke wrote, but want to add that when the soul first separates into two component parts and one of these enters into a physical body, the other part remains a mere soul, invisible even to us, but having an existence of which we are conscious. The second part seeks the opportunity to also incarnate and become individualized. Sometimes there is a space of several scores of years before the second part incarnates, but such time seems short to us who know nothing of time.

“The soul which remains, as well as the soul that enters a human body, loses its consciousness of having been a part of one complete soul and exists in the supposition that it is still a whole soul and needs nothing else to make it complete. That is a provision of the Father’s Goodness, so the soul which continues in its pristine existence will not become lonely or unhappy.

“You might ask how I know this, as I have said these souls are not visible to us. I can only answer that we spirits, who have highly developed souls, have acquired certain faculties which enable us to know of their existence without having to see them, any more than it is that we should be able to see the Great Oversoul of the Father in order to understand the qualities and attributes of that Soul.

“Your senses of earth life are not capable of comprehending this explanation, but what I tell you is true. The invisible image of God fills the whole of the spirit body and material body, and receives its form and is individualized. The soul is the life of the spirit body and never leaves it during earth life, and comes with it , at the death of the physical body, and reamins with it during all the time of the existence of the spirit body in the spirit world.

“Matters of this kind are not important as regards the salvation of humankind, or the development of the soul to become at-One with the Great Soul, having what it did not possess before; the Divine Nature of the Father and Immortality as an individual and never-dying person.

“With my blessings, I am your brother in Christ, Samuel.” Amen

Words from Luke about Incarnation

Excerpts from “The Gospel of God’s Love”, pages 73 – 76, from Luke the Physician:

“I want to tell you of the mystery of the birth of the soul in the human being. All souls which enter into human bodies are, previous to such advent, real, living existences, made in the likeness of the Great Soul, though not having all the qualities and potentialities of that Soul. They also do not have the form of individualized personality which they will have after they become parts of the composition of the mortal and spiritual bodies of human beings.

“The soul, in its existence prior to becoming an indweller in the mortal body, has a consciousness of its existence, and of its relationship to God and other children of that great Soul… When the time comes for this soul to become an indweller in the mortal frame, the two parts of the soul separate, and each part enters into a different mortal. While this soul, before separation, has a consciousness of its duplex existence, when this duplex character leaves it, and thereafter until its reentry into the spirit world, this consciousness does not again return to these parts.

“Now, as to what this soul is, in its constituent parts or shape, prior to its separation for the purpose of becoming an inhabitant of the mortal body, we spirits are not informed. We are often present at the conception and gestation, and also at the birth of a child, we realize that a soul has become enveloped in the flesh, but we cannot see that soul as it enters into its home of mortal environment because to us it is invisible; but after its lodgment in the human body, we can perceive its existence, for then it assumes a form.

“I know that people have often asked about the preexistence of the soul that has been incarnated, and what qualities it had during its preexistence, and to these particulars I wish to say that we spirits have little information, though we do know that the soul has an existence prior to its becoming individualized. We are of higher development and can, with the perceptions of our souls, understand the existence of these souls as images of the Over-Soul. We further understand that when the soul becomes incarnated and assumes an identity, it never thereafter loses that individuality.” Amen

Incarnation of the Soul, continued

“…This is really the true description of the physical body, and if it were all of a person, they would soon perish with its death and cease to exist as a part of the creation of the universe of God. The soul is the vital, living and never dying part of humans, and the only part that was intended to continue an existence in the spirit world. When people say, or believe, that the body is all of the person and that when it dies the person ceases to exist, they do not understand the relationship or functioning of soul and body, and know only the half-truth which is visible to their senses – that the body dies and can never again be resuscitated.

“But questions are asked; whence comes the soul, by whom was it created, how does it become incarnated in the body, for what purpose and what is its destiny. First let me state that man has nothing to do with the creation of the soul or its appearance in the flesh. Their work is to provide a receptacle for its coming – a mere host for its entry into the flesh and existence as a mortal. While this receptacle is a creation of man and without him it would not be brought into existence, yet the soul is no part of this creation and is independent of the body.

“After the earth life, in the spirit world, the soul will eventually cease to remember that it was ever connected with or dependent upon this creation of its parents. The soul in spirit life is so separate from and dissociated with that body, which was its home while on earth, that it looks upon it as a mere vision of the past and not a subject for its consideration.

“The soul was created by God long before its appearance in the flesh and awaited such incarnation for the purpose of giving it an individuality which it did not have in preexistence. There’s a law of God controlling these things that renders these preexisting souls capable of knowing the desirability of incarnation, and they are always anxious for the opportunity to be born in the flesh and assume their separate identities. Mortals provide the receptacle, they become aware of that and take advantage of the opportunity to incarnate and become an individual.” Amen

The Incarnation of the Soul

From a message by Jesus, received by James E Padgett,  in The Gospel of God’s Love, page 70.

“You may have observed in your studies of the different theories of the creation of man, that the question arises as to the relationship of the soul and the material body. Many theories have been set forth as to how and when the soul became part of the physical body and what was the means adopted by the laws of nature for the lodgment of that soul into that body, and the relationship one bore to the other.

“When the physical body is created, it has no consciousness of its having been created, for it is merely of the material of nature. It does not feel or sense in any degree the fact that it is a living thing, dependent upon the proper nourishment of its mother for its growth and continued life. The father and the mother, being necessary to the creation or formation of this merely animal production, know only that in some way there has come into existence an embryo that may eventuate into a human being like unto themselves. If this were allowed to remain without a soul, it would soon fail to fulfill the object of its creation and would disintegrate into the elements of which it was formed.

“This physical part of humans is simply the result of the commingling of those forces that are contained in the two genders, which are suited to produce a body fitted for the home of the soul that may be attracted to it in order to develop that soul’s individuality as a thing of life – and possible immortality. The physical body is intended only as a temporary covering for protection and growth of the real being, and does not in any way limit or influence the continuous existenc of the soul. When this body’s functions have ended, the soul – which has become individualized, continues its life in new surroundings and in gradual progression. This mere instrument used for its individualization is disseminated into the elements from which it was formed.

“This body, of itself, has neither consciousness nor sensation, and in the beginning had only the borrowed life of its parents. Then when the soul finds its lodgment, it has only the life of the soul, the human life exists only as long as the soul inhabits the body.”

John points out absurd beliefs in the bible

Continuation of John’s message, received in March 1916, as found in, The Gospel of God’s Love, the Padgett Messages.

“The absurdity of believing that God demanded Jesus should die on the cross, as one of the necessary accompaniments of his death, is so apparent that I, and all of us in the Divine Kingdom of God, wonder that mortals can believe in such an unreasonable dogma.

“To follow this absurd proposition to its logical conclusion, not only that Jesus should die on the cross, but that Judas should become the traitor, that the Jews should clamor for his death, and that Pilate should pronounce the sentence. These were all necessary means to the satisfaction of the debt; and being so, why is it then that Judas, Pilate and the Jews are not “saviors of mankind” also?

“Jesus could not have clamored for his own death, or erected his cross or nailed himself thereto, or pierced his side with a spear in order that blood might flow. But maybe there would have been more elements of payment of debt in that method of dying than the way it was brought about.

“I, John, who loved the Master more than all the others, and who was closer to him and was with him when he was nailed to the cross, and among the first to take his body from the tree and felt his blood on my hands, tell you that his death on the cross did not pay any debt that mortals owed to God, nor did his blood wash away any of man’s sins. Oh, the pity of it all is that mortals for all these long years have believed they were saved by his sacrifice and blood, and by such belief have never come any nearer to the Master or in at-Onement with the Father.

“As I and others have written, the only way in which man can be saved from his sins and become at-One with God, is by the New Birth, which the Master has explained being the result of the inflowing into the soul of the mortal the Divine Love of the Father and the disappearing of everything that tends to sin and error.

“As this Love flows into a human’s soul, it permeates that soul, as does leaven the batch of dough, and thereby their soul becomes like the Father in his Divine nature and fitted to inhabit his Kingdom.” Amen
