There are Many different Beliefs in the World, and we have the free will to believe in what-so-ever-we-choose. As long as we are happy and fulfilled with our beliefs, we may continue following the path we’re on. But if it becomes disruptive or causes dissension among associates, we might consider changing our views. Just because something has been “believed in” for a long time, does in-no-way guarantee that it’s true. The reasoning mind is not capable of understanding spiritual truths. If a person wants to grasp spiritual concepts, they must strive, seek and desire for the Grace of God’s Love to flow into their soul.

We can “believe” that we understand spiritual information accurately, but belief is of the mind and faith, which enables us to grasp spiritual truth, is of the soul. The so-called intellectual mind is energies of the soul, and unless, or until, the soul is deveolped in Love, which up-grades its ability to grasp truth, it will just “believe it knows” and not really “know” spiritual Truths.

If spiritual concepts, which people “believe are true” were really true, there would be more agreement among the inhabitants of the world. “Love is the ingredient of all Knowledge.” God’s Divine Grace is the highest Love. If human beings want to develop their ability to grasp spiritual Truths, they need to pray for God’s Love to come into their soul. The Angels tell us that God always answers our sincere prayers.

We need to learn to-love-ourselves as beloved children of an Awesome Creator-Soul. We can open the door to our hearts when we know God Loves us and wants to bestow his great Gift of Divine Love upon us. In order to become recipients of this Love, we need to let God know we want to receive It. It will not be given to anyone who doesn’t ask God for It, and never is forced upon anyone against their will.

It is up to each and every individual person to decide how they want their life to evolve. They can decide to do it by themselves, or with God’s help. It’s a no-brainer to me, since I’ve learned what a Loving Heavenly Father, God Is. I am aware that many people have not opened their hearts to the blessings they could receive from God, if they would ask for this Gift of Love. God Loves everyone-all are his children. Try praying for God’s Love and Mercy, you could be pleasantly surprised with the blessings you receive. Amen

From Luke, found in The Gospel of God’s Love, page 248.

“I know that the Orthodox generally believe the Holy Spirit and Jesus are parts of the “Godhead,” being one with and equal to God the Father, though having different and distinct personalities. The Orthodox Preachers and Theologians teach that it’s a fact that these three are One, co-equal and co-existing, and that it is the “Great Mystery of God” and mortals should not endeavor to fathom this mystery because the sacred things of God are his own and it’s not lawful for mortals to enter into these secrets.

“Well, this declaration is very wise, as mortal wisdom goes, and saves the expounders of these doctrines from attempting to explain what they cannot explain – because it is impossible for them to unravel that which, as a fact, has no existence. Humans of thought all down the ages have sought to understand this “great mystery”, as they call it, and have been unsuccessful.

“As the early fathers of the churh met with defeat in their endeavors to understand the mystery, and then, because of such defeat, declared the explanation of the doctrine to be a secret of God, not to be inquired into by mortals. So all these other investigators of the church, when they became convinced of the futility of their search, adopted the same admonition as the early fathers. Thus from the beginning of the established church (after the death of Jesus and his apostles) this doctrine of the trinity was declared and made the vital foundation stone of their visible church’s existence.

“From time to time there arose someone who, having more enlightenment than their fellows in the church, attempted to gainsay the truth of this doctrine, and declared and maintained that there was only One God – the “Father.” But they were in the minority, and not acting with the more powerful, their views were rejected.

“So the “Mystery” became the churches sacred symbol of truth – unexplainable, and therefore more certain and entitled to credence. For it seems to be the tendency of mortal’s minds, or at least those who believe the Bible is the inspired word of God, to welcome and embrace as the more wonderful and important, and the more to be cherished those things which savor of the mysterious.”

As a soul receives more of God’s Love through prayer, it is more capable of perceiving spiritual truth, and progress is unlimited. Amen

More about Jesus’ teachings, from The Gospel of God’s Love, and from what I have learned through the Angels’ messages:

After Jesus had entered the spirit world, he first went into the dark planes and preached the Gospel of Salvation, through praying for God’s Love and Mercy, to the souls suffering there. When Jesus was ready to open the Celestial Gates, there was a group of his followers gathered, ready to enter therein with him. They had learned about the availability of God’s Gift of Love, while Jesus was on his earth Mission, and they were his followers in spirit. They began praying for God’s Love and Mercy and continued following Jesus throughout his earthly Mission. They had been born-again in Love and were prepared to enter the Higher Heavens when Jesus opened the Gates.

The pentecost occurred when God issued a Special Dispensation upon Jesus’ disciples, who were gathered in the upper room, after Jesus had entered the Celestial Heavens. They were afraid, and didn’t know how go forth and carry on Jesus’ teachings without him.  God wanted to assure that Jesus’ message about the availability of God’s Gift of Divine Love, to everyone who prays earnestly for it, would not be lost to humankind. That is why the disciples received the abundant inflowing of God’s Grace, which gave them wisdom (fulfillment, knowledge, courage, strength, etc.) and all the Love necessary to carry on Jesus’ Mission. The inflowing of the Love was so powerful that it seemed to them that the room shook, while it was a result of the energy of the Love flowing into their souls. They, thereafter, did go forth into the world and preach the Gospel of God’s Love, no longer fearing death, but wanting to do God’s Will, and demonstrate these spiritual truths in their lives.

Jesus writes of current times; “So you see that my disciples, when I was on earth, were not possessed of the true conception of my mission, or what the Love of the Father meant. I have now, on earth, many mortals who understand my teachings better, and with a greater extent of soul knowledge, than my disciples had then.

“But there are a great many men and women who do not understand my teachings, even though they think they understand the Bible and the interpretations of its dsicourses, in accordance with the accepted doctrines of their so-called learned teachers of its truths.” Earnestly pray to know the truth and you shall find it. Amen

“When I came to teach the Truths of my Father, the world was almost devoid of a spiritual conception of the true relationship of God to humans, and God was seen primarily as a Being of Power and wrath. The Jews largely envisioned him as a God who was interested in their material welfare, and did not realize that he was a God who wanted them to know him as their spiritual Father, and as their savior from sin and evil.

“Consequently when I came they, who accepted me as the Messiah, looked upon me as one who would redeem them from slavery and make them a great and independent nation. They had no conception of my true mission on earth, and even my disciples, until shortly before my death, looked upon me as a savior from the burdens which the Roman yoke had placed upon them.

“The only one of my disciples who had a clear realization of what my teachings meant was John, and that was because of the great amount of love that seemed to be part of his nature and being. To him I explained my real mission, and the truths which I had come to teach. Hence only in John’s Gospel is written the one necessary requirement to the full salvation and redemption of humankind – the declaration that mortals must be born again in order to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. This is the only way by which humans can become true children of God, fitted to live in and enjoy His Kingdom to the fullest.

“The other disciples had a more or less accurate conception of this necessary truth, but not the full comprehension of what it involved. Excepting John, Peter was more possessed of God’s Love than were the others, and with it he also understood that I was the “true son” of our Father (and that I was Not God). But he did not fully realize that my Kingdom was not to be an earthly one – until after my death – then he became the most powerful and influencial of all my disciples.

“After the Pentecost, all my disciples understood what my real mission was, and they went into the world and preached the true doctrines of my mission on earth and the Love of the Father for all his children.” To be continued…

 Episode #2, ended with; “I know it is said that if God did not permit evil and carnal desires to exist, there would be no reason or possibility for humans to act in a way that would bring them feelings of hatred, etc., that I speak of. But this is merely saying that if humans were not given free will, they would commit no sin or indulge in error. But what you must know is that human beings were given, at their creation, the privilege and power to become entirely free from sin (which is merely the violation of God’s laws of harmony), and also the freedom and ability to violate these laws. As they will, so shall it be.

“Everything in nature may be truned into an instrument of harm, if the laws which establish the workings of these things are violated. “Sin,” as an abstract thing, does not exist, but is merely the result of disobedience of some law. Mortals may not fully realize that every law carries with it a penalty for its violation – and this applies to the smallest law in the material universe as well as to the greatest law in the spiritual kingdom – and the penalty is just as sure in its operation as is the law itself.

“A person may be created almost perfect, physically, and so long as they live in a way which does not violate some physical law operating to keep them in that physical perfection, they will suffer no pain or inharmony. But as soon as they do violate this law, the penalty asserts itself, and they suffer. Now this arises not because there was any pain or suffering existing in the abstract; and had they not violated this law, they would never have known that there was such a thing as pain or suffering. But when they did violate the law, there came into operation the penalty which is always the result of a violation of the law.

“The same principle applies to the moral and spiritual universe. So long as a mortal lives in harmony with these laws of truth, they will not realize the existence of sin and error. But when the law is violated, the penalty asserts itself, and they then realize their mistake, and suffer the penalty. Amen

Continuation of previous Blog, from Jesus;

“Because of human’s great gift of free will, truth itself – even with all the power and knowledge of the Father back of it – will not compell a person to accept it against their will. And hence, as people are fallible, and think and believe according to their finite mental faculties, convince themselves that a certain thing is or is not true, they will not be willing to surrender these convictions until truth shall come to them in such a way as to pursuade them of its reality. And as humans differ so much in the operations of their minds and reasoning faculties, there will necessarily be great divisions among them as to what is and what is not true; and hence there will arise disputes and hatred and even wars among them in maintaining their respective beliefs and opinions as to what is truth.

“While these feelings of discord must necessarily follow the advent of truth, yet I did not come for the purpose of bringing a “sword,” but for the purpose of showing humans what the truths are and wanting to cause harmony and belief in these truths.   Never is hatred nor discord nor war among humans justified, no matter what the cause.

“Truth is, of itself, a thing apart, and admits of no variations or modifications, and hence, the minds of humans must eventually submit to and embrace the truth – it will never accomodate itself to the beliefs of mortals. One is fixed and unchangable, and the other is always changable, and until founded on a knowledge of the truth, will at some time or other have to change. In the end, truth will be established in the hearts and minds of humans, so that harmony and peace shall reign in all God’s universe.

“Error does not exist in the world because God created it or permitted it to exist, but soley because there belongs to humans an unrestricted will, which controls and influences their thoughts and acts, and which in turn is influenced by the desires and appetites of the mortal. I know it is said that if God did not permit evil to exist in the world, there would be no possibility for humans to create evil. This is saying that if humans did not have free will, they would commit no sin; but we, human beings, do have free will.” To be continued…

Excerpts from a message conveyed by Jesus on December 25, 1915. Published in The Gospel of God’s Love, Book One, The Padgett Messages, on pages 229 – 235.

“The one great truth that is the foundation of humankinds salvation is the new birth, and the fact that the Divine Love of the Father is waiting for every person to let it enter their soul and make them at-One with the Father. I am with you often, trying to impress you with the great necessity of having these truths revealed as mortals’ souls are longing for the truth, and their intellects are dissatisfied with the present teachings of Christian theology and the sayings of the Bible in many places.

“I was with you as you were reading an article which advocated eliminating from the Christian teachings a large part of the New and nearly all of the Old Testament, and formulating a faith based entirely of my sayings. But the only difficulty in carrying out this plan effectively and having it produce the desired result is that the Bible does not contain many sayings of mine disclosing the truth, and does contain many sayings attributed to me which I never said.

“Take the saying over which a controversy is now being had: “I came not to bring peace to the world, but rather a sword.” Now while that appears in Matthew’s Gospel as coming from me, I never said it, nor used any expression that would convey the meaning that some commentators are endeavoring to place upon these words. I never taught war upon a person’s neighbor and never at any time was such a thought part of my teachings. Militarism is all wrong, and against all the precepts of truth; it should not for a moment be believed in by any Christian or anyone else that such action was ever advocated by me.

“While my truths will cause a division among people (as they differ in opinions of what truth is) and may separate and cause bitter thoughts and even hatred to arise in their souls toward one another, yet the accomplishing of such results was not the object of my teachings. Rather they are the result of the unavoidable conflict between truth and error. Truth cannot be compromised even for the sake of peace, and error will not submit or acknowledge its untruth, so long as mortals continue to believe in and advocate it”. To be continued…

A message from George Whitefield, printed in, The Gospel of God’s Love, page 315.

“I have been present with you since your return from the church and during your conversations. I heard what the preacher said, and was particularly interested in his ideas about the coming of the great “world teacher.” His ideas of what constituted greatness, arose from his conception of human greatness. The teacher will not be a great preacher, or a magnificent specimen of physical development, with a wonderful voice, but a person who can reveal to the world the truths of the Father regarding the relationship of humans to God, and the plan provided for the redemption and reconcilliation of mortals.

“It is a fact that the regeneration of the human soul is caused more by the quiet meditations of mortals on the truths of the Father, and by silent longings of the soul, than by the emotions that arise from the fervid and persuasive sermons of preachers and evangelists. These later may arouse the dead soul to a realization of their need to reconcile with God, but not so often do these emotions bring the soul into rapport or union with the Father, as do the silent meditations of which I speak. There must be true soul longings and aspirations for the Love of the Father and these longings do not generally arise from the emotions produced, especially where such emotions are of fear, created by the picturing of an angry and vengful God.

“In the silence of the home chamber, where the person is alone with God, and lets their longings go out to the Father for the bestowal of His Love, does this Divine Love come in its regenerating power – just between the mortal and God.

“I am told that Jesus, when on earth, never tried to create excitement in this manner, but his teachings were as a ‘still small voice’ that enters the soul and draws it to a contemplation of the Father’s Love, with all the power of the souls’ longings. The preachers conceptions were not correct; while there will be revelations of Truth, there will be no single “world teacher,” but many revealers of truth will be disclosed. Of course these truths will need to be preached and taught to the people, but this will not be done by any one teacher, but by many followers who have progressed in God’s transforming Love.” Amen

From the ancient spirit, Lot: “As I was saying, I was so satisfied in my happiness, as a spirit possessing purified natural love, that I thought there could be no greater love or happiness. But in the course of time, I had reason to think that there might be a greater Love in operation in the spirit world, because of the wonderful beauty and brightness of some of the spirits that I met, at times. I started to investigate the matter, and as a result I learned of this Divine Love, and at last sought for and found it.

“And what a treasure I found! I am now so filled with God’s Divine Love that my happiness is beyond all conception of, not only mortals on earth, but also of spirits who live in the natural love spheres.

“I am one of the many Celestial Spirits who are interested in, and now engaged in the work for the redemption of humankind. Jesus is our leader, and we all work with him in the effort to redeem the world; and by that I mean, the individuals who comprise the world; for you must know that redemption is an individual matter, and not one that can be accomplished in the way of redeeming a nation or a race as a whole.

(Mr. Padgett asked a question) “Well, the incident of my wife turning into a piller of salt is like a great many others related to the Old Testament – these incidents are merely figures of speech, used to illustrate some moral or spiritual truth. My wife was never turned into salt, but died a natural death, and her remains were buried where mine were buried. She is now also in the Celestial Heavens.

So, my dear brother, I must say goodnight. Lot”

Editor’s comments; I have discovered how difficult it is to help people learn about God’s Gift of Love, which has the power to change seeking souls into divine souls. But since each person is responsible for the development of their own soul, then you, and I, and they, each one of us needs to do our own praying for the Love. Desire to do God’s will in your life; pray to be blessed by the Holy Spirit; pray to activate the highest potential of your soul, and just “long for the Love” and you will receive it and begin to become transformed by God’s Gift of Grace into a Divine person. Amen

Excerpts from The Gospel of God’s Love, on page 219:

“I am now a follower of the Master and want to add my testimony to that of others who have written that Jesus is alive and ruler of the Celestial Heavens, and is now working among mortals and spirits to show the way to eternal life and the divine love of the Father.

“When I lived on earth we didn’t have the privilege of knowing what that love was, we only knew that there was a God and that God loved us and wanted us to live correct lives on earth, and thereby receive his blessings and all the rewards in the future that an obedient life would bring. But as to this greater Love, which makes angels of all who possess it, we had no knowledge, nor had we been taught by our seers or prophets that such Love existed. And, as I now know, the privilege of obtaining it did not then exist; only with the coming of Jesus came the availability of that Love again to mortals and spirits.

“But God had for us a natural love, and we had for God a love which when fully purified would make us obtain a happiness that is beyond all conception of human happiness. But even of that happiness we had little knowledge. We had only glimpses in the teachings of our prophets, that such happiness might exist in the future life.

“I was a lover of God, as I then understood what God was; but such love was not that which arose from my conception of him as a tender, loving Father, but more as a stern God, always watchful and ready to punish for disobedience to his commands. And yet we also believed that when we obeyed him and did his will, he would reward us.

“So you see, the God of my days and the God of the present, as we now perceive him to be, are not similar. All people should now understand and believe that Jesus, the Christ, brought to the knowledge of mortals, the possibility of their knowing the true God of Love and Mercy.

“It was long years after Jesus came before I received this Love, or believed in the great truth which he taught. I was so satisfied with my happiness as a purified spirit that I thought there could be no greater happiness.” To be continued…
