Message from Elias (Elijah of the Old Testament). Published in The Gospel of God’s Love, page 215.

“I come to write a message on the veracity of the Bible, and specifically the portion which has to do with the times I was supposed to have lived. My entrance on the scene of Jewish life was very abrupt, and little was written about my antecedent life, except that I was a Tishbite who lived in that protion of Palestine where the activities of the people and prophets of the Hebrew race are seldom refered to. When I came into notice, it was as if I had come out of the unknown, where God had taken special pains to instruct me in the truths of His laws. But a great deal of the account of my appearing, and of the things that I declared and did, is fictional.

“I was a real person of the prophet class, and I warned the kings and rulers of the wrath of God that was impending upon them, and of the evils in their manner of living. Sometimes these kings heeded my warnings and sometimes they did not; and some of the consequences were suffered by them, similar to that described in the Bible.

“I never claimed to have direct communication with God, or to deliver any message He had directed to me to deliver by His own word, or that I had ever seen God, or knew who or what He was.

“I lived a rather secluded life and was versed in the teachings and beliefs of the Israelites, as they were known at that time. I was also given to much meditation and prayer, and possessed a religious nature to such a degree that I understood that the thoughts and perceptions of truth that came to me were actually messages from the unseen world. And possessing a knowledge of the moral truths, as declared in the Decalogue and as taught by the priests of the temple, I could readily discern the acts and doings of the kings, and of the people as well, which were in violation of these moral truths. I appeared to these rulers and people, and denounced their acts and doings, and warned them of the wrath of God unless they ceased their acts of disobedience and returned to the worship of the one true God that the Hebrew race distinctly declared and worshipped.

Message from Elias, prophet of old (Elijah), published in The Gospel of God’s Love, page 128.

“I will write a short message tonight, as it is late and you are tired. I desire to say that the message you received from the Master contains some of the most important truths affecting the realstionship of God to mortals in their worldy or material living. Every truth that was uttered has in it an element which shows that humans must expect and know that God will not interfere with the law of compensation, as to its effects and results. Only will He help humans to remove the causes that so certainly entail the results.

“The sooner mortals know this and more thoroughly understand it, the sooner they will become able to avoid the consequences of sin and the violation of the law; and also understand that no prayer will cause God to respond where a suspension, or setting aside, of his laws or their workings is required. God will respond to prayer where it asks for removal of the cause, but never when it applies only to the effects. This truth humans should learn, and in their prayers, ask that the causes which – in compliance with the law of compensation – bring about harmful results be removed or eliminated from their thoughts and deeds, as well as from their desires.

“I could write a long message on this subject, but will not do so now. With my love I will say goodnight. Your brother in Christ, Elias”

I opened the book to find an angelic message to share with friends and strangers, who want to discover the way to develop their spiritual nature. Readers familiar with these wonderful messages, are acquainted with how to develop their soul in Love. There are two pathways of soulful progress; one is to purify the natural love by renouncing anything they might think of doing, which is out of harmony with Love . Following this method is difficult, and one ends up in the same condition as when they arrived – with a purified soul, still in the image of God.

The only way one can develop a divine soul is through prayers to God for the great Gift of Grace. It has the power to change a persons soul from the image into the Substance, first purifying, then transforming ones soul to become at-One with God, and where spiritual progress is unlimited. Amen

I’ve been following my “inspirations” to share the angels’ messages here, hoping souls-seeking-truth will find them and learn the Way to become Born-Again in Love. I know that the angels messages are difficult to understand, especially with the reasoning mind, because spiritual truths need to be understood with the  “perceptions of a person’s soul.”

“At man’s creation, a plan was formed by which the image might become the Substance, and there was given to man, the possessor of the image, the potentiality of  obtaining that Substance.” From a message in The Gospel of God’s Love, page 269, titled, The atonement (part 2), delivered from Luke of the Bible, and received by James Padgett, on January 4, 1916.

When these wonderful messages from Celestial angels were received, nearly a century ago, it was common to use the word ‘man’ in many instances, refering to humankind. I realize that the word is meant to be inclusive of both genders, but I feel it’s more “reader friendly” to use the word ‘human’ instead.

I have learned that everyone, even those who are striving to develop the highest potential of their soul, cannot grasp spiritual information that is greater than their current spiritual development enables them to understand. The angels have explained that even sincere-seekers of truth, aren’t able to envision another persons’ soul development which is greater than their own. Even an angel’s soul condition cannot be seen as being higher than theirs, so they don’t listen to, or try to learn from these loving teachers. When we become spirits, we can still progress in God’s Love. Angels are still teaching about the availability of God’s Love in the spirit world.

Awareness of all this, helps me understand why it’s been taking 2,000 years, since the potential to receive God’s Divine Grace was rebestowed to the souls of humankind, and people, in general, are still not highly developed in their spiritual condition. I have also learned that spiritual information, as taught by our beloved brother, Jesus, had startred being distorted soon after his crucifixion.

It’s understandable why this happened, since people cannot understand spiritual truths which are greater than their spiritual development allows them to grasp. But how then can humankind be helped to develop their souls love-nature in the Grace of God’s Love? I sincerely pray that more souls will seek truth and God’s Love, to raise their consciousness, and become aware of their divine potential. Each and every child of God, in the whole world, needs to pray for the saving Grace of God’s Love in order to receive It. Amen

Third episode of Ann Rollins message titled, The Greatest Law. Published in The Gospel of God’s Love, on page 149.

“Let all people, wise and unwise, know that God has provided a means by which humans, if they so will, may escape the unchanging law of compensation and be no longer subject to its demands and penalties. These means are simple, and within the comprehension and grasp of every living soul, be he saint or sinner, wise or ignorant. Intellect, in the sense of being learned, is not involved; and the man who knows that God exists and provides him with food and raiment as the result of his daily toil, as well as the great scientist and philosopher, may learn the way to this redeeming truth. The ‘soul’ must seek and it will find – and the soul of the wise may not be as capable of receiving as the soul of the ignorant.

“God is Love. Humans have natural love, but this love is not sufficient to enable them to find the great means that I speak of – only the Divine Love of the Father. God is willing that all humans should have this Love. It is free and waiting to be bestowed upon everyone; but  it’s a spiritual law that – God will not bestow this Love unless a human seeks and “asks for It” in earnestness and faith.

“The will of each soul stands between them and this Love, if one fails to exercise their will in seeking for it. No person can receive this Love against their will. The Love of the Father comes into a persons soul when they seek for it in prayer and faith – and this implies that they ‘will it’ to come to them. No one is ever refused this Love when it’s properly asked for.

“This Love is part of God’s Divine Essence, and when humans possess it in sufficient abundance, they become part of Divinity Itself. And in the Divine, there is no sin or error; and consequently, when they become part of this divinity, no sin or error can form a part of their being.

“This Love is sufficient to cleanse the soul from all sin, and make humans at-One with the Father. I know from experience that this forgiveness is a real, existing thing; when the Father forgives, sin disappears, and there is nothing on which penalties need to be paid.” Amen

“Sin is a violation of God’s law, and the effect of sin is the penalty which such violation imposes. A mortal’s suffering for sins committed is not the result of God’s special “condemnation,” but are the results of the workings and scourgings of their conscience and recollections. And as long as conscience works, they will suffer; the greater the sins committed, the greater will be the suffering.

“Now all this implies that a human’s soul is filled, to a greater or lesser extent, with these memories, which for the time constitute part of their very existence. They live with these memories, and the suffering and torment which results from them can never leave, until the memories of these sins, or the result therefrom, cease to be a part of them, and their constant companions. This is the inexorable workings of the law of compensation; and humans, by themselves, have no way of escaping this law, except by their long expiation, which removes these memories and satisfies the law.

“Humans cannot change this law, and God will not; so, as I say the law never changes. But remember this fact; that in order for the law to operate, humans must have these memories, and they are a part of their very existence. Now suppose the creator of this law has created another law by which, under certain conditions and upon humans doing certain things, these memories are “removed from them,” and no longer constitute a part of their existence. Then I ask, what is there in that person upon which this law of compensation can operate? The law is not changed – it is not even set aside – but that upon which it can operate no longer exists, so consequently there is nothing which calls for its operation.

“So I say to scientists and philosophers, that God’s laws are fixed and never change, but I further say, that certain conditions which call for the operations of these laws today, tomorrow may change or cease to exist, and the laws are no longer in effect.

“Mortals knowledge of God’s laws is limited, as well as of the power, wisdom and Love of the Father. God’s Love is the greatest thing in all the universe, and the “law of Love” is the greatest law. God bless you, each and every one, and keep you peaceful and happy. Amen

“I come to write about the forgiveness of sin and pardon of the Father, and to enlighten you upon this subject, which is so little understood since humans first commenced to distort the teachings of the Master.

“Mercy is the operation of the divine law which relieves humans of the penalties from the sins they have committed. It permits them to turn from their evil thoughts and deeds and seek for the Love of the Father; and if they earnestly seek, will find the forgiveness which is waiting for them to obtain. It does not violate any law which God has established pertaining to mortal’s conduct, and the law of compensation – “that which man sows, that shall he reap” – is not set aside. But in this case where man becomes penitent, and in all earnestness prays to the Father to forgive him of his sins, the operation of another and greater law is called into activity, and the old law of compensation is nullified and, as it were, “swallowed up” in the power of this new law of forgiveness and Love.

“So you see there is no setting aside of any of God’s Laws. As in the physical world, where certain lesser laws are overcome by greater laws, so, in the operation of spiritual things, the greater law must prevail over the lesser. God’s laws never change; but they do seem to change, when two laws come into apparent conflict and the lesser law must give way to the greater.

“Spiritual laws are just as fixed as are the physical laws that operate in the material universe; and no law, having application to the same conditions, ever differs in its operation. But suppose that a more powerful and contrary law should come into operation; do you suppose the former, lesser law would still control the situation? The effect of this is not to set aside the lesser law, or even to change it, but to subordinate it to the operstion of the greater law.

The Creator of all law has provided a greater law which may be brought into operation, which causes the former law to cease to operate. And humans may experience the benefit of this higher law. When God forgives someone of their sins, the law of compensation is not annihilated, but removes that upon which this law can operate. Amen

Message from Peter, continued. Found in The Gospel of God’s Love, page 144.

“Humans themselves must be the actors and the initiating force to bring about changes in their will, and no assurances of forgiveness by popes, priests or church can eradicate these contaminating influences, or remove that which is the cause of the sin, or the effect of the cause. You can see that there is no relationship between these assurances of forgiveness, and the actual sin (or the cause thereof). Prayer to the Father, or supplication to priest and church is believed to effectuate the object sought for, but this belief is erroneous, and so humans do not receive the relief prayed for.

“Yet, prayer is a very important element in forgiveness. While the Father does not, and priests and churches cannot, forgive sin in the manner mentioned, yet true, sincere prayer to the Father for forgiveness will bring its answer, and affect, not the sin, but the soul of the human, so that their will and appetites may be influenced in such a way that they will receive and realize the fact that a wonderful help is changing their appetites and desires; and then turning their thoughts to those things that will enable them to remove from their recollections the thoughts which are the cause of the existence of their souls in a state of sin.

“If humans would only realize this truth, and when they desire forgiveness of their sins, pray to the Father for help in turning away from these thoughts, and in exercising their will in accord with God’s will – and not expect any arbitrary forgiveness or “removal” of their sins – they would find themselves on their way to this forgetfulness and the true forgiveness.

“I desired to write this message and am pleased that I could do so. Thanking you, I will say goodnight. Your brother in Christ, Peter the Apostle ”

I understand that words do not always help, even sincere-seekers-of-truth, know how to pray from their heart. It’s something which needs to be tried and worked at with humility, dedication and striving to develop greater faith in the power of God’s Love. Pray to elevate your souls’ desires to understand spiritual truths, and gain the strength needed to overcome weakness. It cannot happen unless your desires are earnest, and consistant. And only if, after you fall, you get up again and pray with renewed strength and faith in the Power of Love. Amen

Message from Peter, Apostle of Jesus, in reference to a truth which exists in the spirit world. Found in The Gospel of God’s Love, page 143.

“There is, in our world, a law which makes the soul of one who has not yet been purified suffer the penalties for acts for which they were guilty during their earth life. And there is no forgiveness of these acts, in the sense taught by the theologians and churches. The only forgiveness is the cessation of recollection of these acts, so they become as though they had never been. As the soul becomes purified and in harmony with the laws of its creation, it then comes into its natural condition. Then and only then forgivness takes place.

“God does not forgive by the mere act of pronouncing forgiveness, or by the arbitrary and sudden “blotting out” of sins, without first removing the condition which creates the inharmony. And so you will understand that if God cannot forgive sins in this way, neither can popes, priests or churches. And the pronouncing of forgiveness by these men constitutes a deception of and injury to the persons who pray and ask for forgiveness.

“And for such deception these men will have to answer when they come to the spirit world and realize the truth of forgiveness, and the great deception that they had practiced upon those who were their followers and believers in these false doctrines. Many spirits are now living and suffering in darkness and in their purgatories just because of their belief, and the result thereof, in these misleading teachings.

“There can be no sinning of the physical body, or of the spirit body, but only of the soul, caused by the exercise of the will in a manner antagonistic to the will of the Father. The body, of course, is affected by these inharmonious thoughts and impelling directions of the will. As God leaves to mortals the freedom of exercising their will, and as such will may be influenced by the thoughts, desires and affections of their appetites, so God leaves to them the application of the remedies that will free the soul from such influence and effects caused by this exercise of will. Only when these inharmonious thoughts and appetites become eliminated from his soul and desires, does the soul come into its natural condition and in harmony with the will of God.”

“The woman of Endor was not a witch and did not practice the black arts. She was a good woman, possessed of the powers to call up spirits. She did not engage in practices to harm mortals, such as putting spells on them, but was a true medium with good morals. She had around her many spirits of higher development, whose only desires were to help mortals. She was careful to have no evil spirits come and communicate, and her rapport with us was clear. Had she been of a lower class medium I would not have responded to her call. She had a good rapport with me and other spirits whose thoughts were turned to higher things, and hence she had no difficulty in having us appear when she desired it for the consolation or help of mortals. I had instructed and advised Saul while alive, so it was natural that after I became a spirit and he needed help, he would seek my advice.

“In those days mediums were more numerous than most people suppose. And because of mediums being so common, and having such a variety of intentions (many were engaged in necromancy and evil arts) strict laws were passed against them engaging in pursuing their calling, or in the practice of consulting spirits. But all were not bad, many of them did good in the world; and among these was the woman of Endor, notwithstanding that she has been so vilified and abused by the churches and preachers. She is now living high up in the Celestial Heavens, a redeemed spirit enjoying the Divine Love of God.

“I must stop now and say goodnight. Your friend and brother, Samuel”

There continues to be much speculation about UFO’s and questions like, “I wonder if anyone’s out there?” It’s been millions of years since God’s children (souls) have been incarnating to individualize their personality; they then become spirits. There are innumerable spirits in the universe. The deceased, who were progressing in their natural love, continue to develop their intellect. Spirits travel at the speed of thought, which is “instantaneous”. Their “spirit vehicles” are not made of gross material, so they also travel at the speed of thought. I believe that Spirits enjoy playing games with mortals. It might be considered, by aware souls, that spirits are currently winning the game. Everyone gets to believe in what-so-ever they choose. And that includes me. Amen

From Samuel, of the Old Testament, in The Gospel of God’s Love, on page 213.

 “I am the same Samuel whom the woman of Endor called from the spirit world, and as I come to you tonight, I came to her at that time – only my purpose is not the same and I am not the same spirit in my qualifications. I am now a follower of Jesus’ teachings, and know what the divine love of the Father means, while then, I did not. I was a spirit living in comparative happiness, existing in the consciousness that I had done my work on earth and was then enjoying the repose of the righteous – for as we understrood that word then, in both the mortal and spirit worlds, I was a righteous man.

“I come to you tonight because I see you have been chosen to do the work of the Master in his efforts to show humankind the way by which they may partake of the nature of the Father and obtain immortality. How much more humans (and spirits) are blessed now than when I was a mortal. My God then and your God now are the same, but His great gift of divine love was not available then. You and all mortals should recognize the great advantage you have because of this gift, and the gift of Jesus to demonstrate how this Love may be obtained. It can be received into the soul, freely, without mental exercise of a high order, but by the longings and aspirations of the soul to become part of the Father’s divinity. The ways of God are wonderful and mysterious, and while His plans may seem to be working slowly, yet they are working surely, and will be accomplished in the fulness of time.

“I know that Moses commanded the Jews to love God with all their souls and minds, and many did strive to do so, but in practice their love was often limited; this I know, for when they had succeeded in obtaining what they wanted, they often forgot to love God. And thus it was that Saul sought my help; he thought he had forsaken God and that, as I was in the spirit world, I could intercede in some way. He did not seek me through love of God, but through fear that God would direct wrath upon him.”
