Life in the World Unseen

I’ve been reviewing my Blogs for updating, so I haven’t been adding new topics lately. I intend to continue Blogging because there is ever-so-much-more to learn about life in the spirit world. A couple years ago, a friend suggested a book to read titled, “Life in the World Unseen.” I did read it and was overwhelmed by the detailed descriptions given to many activities the newly arrived spirit experienced. I will quote from the book, you may find it interesting and, perhaps, hard to believe.

II Passing into spirit life. “…I had, during my earth life, witnessed many souls passing over the border into spirit… With my psychic vision I had seen the spirit leave, but nowhere, from orthodox sources, was I able to find out what takes place at the moment of separation… Beacuse no one knows. The answer to my question, I knew I would have one day. I always hoped that my passing would not be violent. My hopes were fulfilled.

“I had an inkling that my days on earth were drawing to a close only a short time before my passing… there was something akin to drowsiness as I lay in my bed. During lucid intervals, I endured no feelings of physical discomfort… I was full of eagerness to be gone. I had no fear…no misgivings, at leaving the earth world. I suddenly felt a great urge to rise up. I had no physical feelings…like in a dream, but was mentally alert. When I had the feeling to arise, I found I was actually doing so. I discovered that those around my bed did not notice what I was doing. I then beheld what had taken place, I saw my physical body lying lifeless upon the bed, but here was I (the real me) alive and well…”

If you are interested in reading about Monsignor Robert Hugh Benson’s account of his experiences, you can find it on Google by entering, Life in the World Unseen, and click on the appropriate title.  His writings were received by the clairaudient mediumship of Anthony Borgia, an old friend of the authors. Robert Benson was formerly a Bishop of Canterbury.

Here’s more of Benson’s account; III First Experiences; As I mentioned, my first spirit home was the same as my earth home, but with a difference. As I entered, I saw at once the changes were ones I had wished to make to my home on earth.

To be continued…
