Princess Saleeba had realized there must be something special to learn about God’s Love, information about which James Padgett was receiving from Celestial Spirits.
“In my journeys to earth, I heard about your meetings with the spirits who are seeking this Love, or rather a way out of their darkness and suffering, and I’ve seen the effects of some of their efforts. I’ve come to learn the way, if possible, by which I may obtain the soul experience, of which I have heard you speak.
“My ancient beliefs still had some influence over me, even though I had learned that Osirus and Isis were myths, that did not supply me with knowledge which would help me get the Love the Spirits teach about. Even knowing that the angry gods do not exist, still there was a void in my soul which I realized had never been filled. So I prayed that Mr. Padgett could help me learn the way to find this soul filling love. I would be grateful and follow that way.
“In the years I’d been in the spirit world, I had lived in many spheres, each in succession, but in none of these did I find anyone who possessed this soul love that I was anxious to obtain. In the highest sphere where I lived, there is a wonderful development of mental qualities, and the knowledge possessed by these spirits is beyond all conception of mortals. Sin does not exist and happiness is very great, the spirits are beautiful and bright. But in comparison to the beauty and brightness of the spirits who claim this soul development in Love, I noticed a great difference.
“We had our loves and harmonies, and peace reigned supreme, but I was not satisfied. The cause of this dissatisfaction was not revealed, and only in my visits to earth and hearing of this Love, had I become convinced that the great secret of our dissatisfaction may be found among the spiritis who have this wonderful Love.
“So I come and ask you to show me the way to learn of it. I have visited the earth plane many times since I’ve been a spirit, and occasionally conversed with spirits who claim to have this Love and they have told me about it. But lately, somehow the desire to learn more has taken possession of me. The spirits seeking your help, told me coming to you first would be helpful.”
