Messages From Different Spirits

Found in Volume III of True Gospel Revealed Anew by Jesus, pages 244 and 245, published by The Foundation Church of the New Birth.

“I Am Here, St. Camelia: Yes, I was a Catholic nun. I merely want to say that I am no longer a nun or a catholic, but a christian redeemed by the Father’s Love and the teachings of the Master.

“I lived in 1676 at Florence, Italy, and was canonized nearly one hundred years after my death. (Mr. Padgett asked a question.) “Yes, in the Romish church history.

“I am now in the Celestial Heavens where are those who have received the New Birth. I will not write more tonight. I merely wanted to write as I had never before written through a mortal.

“I will say goodight. Your sister in Christ, St. Camelia.”

“I Am Here, Amoulomol: I was an inhabitant of a land that no longer exists and is entirely forgotten by human history.

“It was at the north pole, and I lived there when everything was beautiful and green and warm. Yes, thousands of yeaars ago.

“I live in a sphere where my people live. I am very happy with them.

“I was a white man and lived in a city where we had all the conveniences and comforts.

“So you don’t believe me, but it is true.

“I will do so. Goodnight, AMOULOMOL

Note; James Padget did not write his comments on the tablet during the time he was receiving messages from spirits. I believe he may have sugessted for the spirit to pray for God’s Love. It’s challenging to know how to help natural love spirits to accept that there is a higher kind of Love, which they can receive through prayers to the Creator.

Everyone is responsible for the development of their own soul. God’s Grace has the power to raise a person up from the low condition they may have acquired by carrying out unloving choices. People can reverse the downward pathway they’ve embarked upon by sincerely praying for God’s forgiveness and mercy. They can also pray for a guardian spirit to help them find their way.

No  matter how far one has fallen, God’s Love can pick them up and breathe new life and hope into their heart and soul. Each and every individual person needs to decide for themselves how they want their life to unfold. God bless you and keep you safe and happy. Amen

John Writes More About Heaven

Published in The Gospel of God’s Love, page 308, from John.

“Yes, heaven is a place, or a number of places, for the preacher is far from having a true conception of heaven when he supposes it is one large place where all believers go after death, irrespective of their condition of soul and moral perfection. There are many heavens and many places, all as real and substantial as are the different stories and rooms in your homes on earth, and the partitions between these different places are just as impassable (for spirits who do not have the proper qualifications) as are the partition walls betwwen various rooms of your homes. (Editors note: only for people in the flesh; spirits can pass through walls as if they were not there.) These places are distinctive, and the “many mansions” that the preacher refered to are situated in many heavens, or more correctly many spheres of the heavens.

“Strictly speaking, there are two heavens in God’s spiritual universe, namely, the heavens of souls transformed by the Divine Love, called the Celestial Heavens, and the heavens of the restored perfect human, called the Spiritual Heavens, each and all of the spheres in these heavens are places of real perfection and substance.

“As one star differs from another star in glory, so these several heavens within God’s spiritual universe differ from one another in glory and appearance, and in those things which help to make the mansions of their inhabitants beautiful and glorious.

“It would take too long for me to attempt to describe any of these heavens, for they each excell any conception that a mortal is capable of having; but I will say this, there are no streets of gold or pearly gates, or suns or stars in any of them – only the light of God’s Love and mercy illuminates them. (End of Johns writing.)

A short writing from Helen Padgett, to James Padgett from her new location; “Oh my dear, how I wish you could see me as I am now, and the great Love that is in my soul, then you would never doubt me. My garment is a beautiful white flowing gown which has all the splendor of the sun shining on the polished silver roof of some Turkish Mosque. I have a golden girdle, and jewels on my head, and an aura that shows the development of God’s Love in my soul…

Your own true and loving, Helen.”

John continues about “Revelation”

Published in The Gospel of God’s Love, “The Book of Revelation, on page 307.

“My book of prophecy was written, not with the purpose of establishing the Jews as a nation on earth, or causing them to believe that their hopes or longings would be fulfilled, but for the purpose of encouraging the Christians to believe that, notwithstanding their persecution and martyrdom, they would in the future life (when they would meet the Master and other angels) find joy and peace in heaven.

“But in my writings, nothing was said about the wrath of God being visited upon the persecutors of the Christians, or of their having to go into hell of fire and brimstone, so that the happiness of the redeemed would be increased. My writings have been added to, and all kinds of grotesque imagery interpolated, so the whole design and purpose of my writings were changed and destroyed.

“The present book of Revelation is of no value, but on the contrary, is doing much harm to the cause of truths taught by the Master. It should not be accepted as truth and should not be believed in for any purpose. It has led many honest and earnest seekers astray, and caused them to believe and teach false doctrines that have resulted in much darkness, and much stagnation in the development of human souls. So I say, let humans entirely disregard its teachings.

“The writings I gave my people of the kind mentioned have long ago served their purpose, and the book of Revelation contains no truth that will help humankind to the Heavenly Kingdom or to at-Onement with fhe Father. Let it die the death of falsehood, born out of time.

“I was also interested in the struggle of the preacher to explain what heaven is, and what the redeemed children of God will find when they enter that heaven. He spoke truly when he said heaven is a place as well as a condition, for it is inconceivable that any “condition” of the spirit of a mortal could exist unless there be a place where that spirit could find habitation. All space in the universe of God contains places where things of existence must find localities. There is no such thing as a vacuum in God’s economy – all parts of space are fitted with something having substance, either material or spiritual and wherever such substance is, there is a place for its abiding.”To be continued…

The Book of Revelation

By John the Apostle, published in The Gospel of God’s Love, pages 305-309.

“I was with you tonight and heard the sermon of the preacher on the question: “What is heaven?” And his text was founded in a book of the Bible ascribed to me, so I thought it fitting that I should come and write as to the truth of that sermon. And to its value as descriptive of what heaven is, what its appearances are, and what the spirits are doing in what the preacher called ‘service.’

“I first want to say that, while I did write a book similar to the one called Revelation, yet this one does not contain my writings to any great extent. In my time and a long time previous, the Jewish writers, because of great troubles their nation was undergoing, were accustomed to write books in the nature of the one contained in the Bible (and also called “revelations”), for the purpose of encouraging their people to believe that the wrongs they were suffering would be avenged by God, and their enemies made to suffer and be destroyed. And that in the end their nation would be rescued and become the ruling nation  of the earth. These writings were always ascribed to some prophet, seer or man of God through mysterious visions.

“These writings were intended to encourage the Jews to establish faith in God, and in their belief that He would send them a Messiah who would have the power to redeem them from the punishments they were undergoing under the tyrnny of their captors. Always were these writings prophetic, holding forth these promises for the future, without ever fixing a time for their fulfillment. So that, as time went on and promises were not fulfilled, hope continued to exist and their belief was not lessened.

“This hope upon hope was a wonderful force in keeping up the beliefs and expectations of the Jews; and so effective was it that to this day they remain in expectation of this coming Messiah. Many books and manuscripts were written, holding forth the results of visions claimed to have been experienced by these writers. But these prophecies, in the sense that the Jews understood them, have never been fulfilled, neither will they ever be in the future.

“This custom continued from these early times down to the time in which I wrote my book of prophecy. To be continued…

Pray To Know The Truth

The message from Jesus, in the Gospel of God’s Love, on pages 225-229, continues.

Recap: Only a knowledge of the Father being a God of Love, and that this Love may be obtained by humans through earnest prayer for its bestowal, is all that’s necessary for their New Birth to follow.

“There is nothing else that will bring about this knowledge; for the response which follows the prayers will cause the New Birth, which, when experienced by humans, will place them in that unison with the Father that will lead to a knowledge of other truths that form a part of the plan of salvation.

“Nothing else will develop this knowledge of the inner sense of which I write. A knowlwdge of the mind, except in conjunction with this inner knowledge, can never bring about the necessary at-Onement with the Father. It often exists that a human may have this inner kowledge, and at the same time have a mental belief which is wholly at variance with the true plan of soul salvation. The mind of humans, being a thing of wonderful power, can for a time retard the growth of this knowledge of the soul sense. But only for a time; eventually the soul sense will develop to the point where the erroneous mind’s knowledge will entirely disappear, and the human will possess only the truth.

“Of this erroneous mind’s “knolwedge,” or better, “conviction”, is the belief that my name (that is supplications made in my name) will bring about the realization of the desires of the supplicant. And what I have said applies to many other declarations contained in the Bible, such as “He that belieeth on the lord Jesus Christ shall be saved.” This is the enunciation of false doctrine, and is misleading to the great majority of Christians, for they accept the declarations as literally true.

“If to all these declarations is added the vital truth: “Except a person be born again, they cannot enter into the Kingdom of Heaven,” and to this mental belief be added the soul’s faith, then the doctrines will be truly stated, and humans will understand what is necessary for their salvation.

“Belief and Faith are not the same; one is of the mind and the other of the soul. One can change as phenomena change, the other when possessed never changes. Faith of the soul, causes all its longings to become things of real existence.” Amen

Belief in Jesus’ Name Is Not Sufficient

Continuation of message from Jesus, Published in The Gospel of God’s Love, pages 225 – 229.

“The Bible expression that mere belief in my name is sufficient to cause the workings of miracles is entirely untrue; I never said that such belief was required, nor did I say whatsoever should be asked of the Father in my name would be given to them. I was not part of the “Godhead,” and I had not, of myself, any such power. And neither did my name have any miraculous influence with the Father. I was a man, as are other men – only I had become filled with God’s Divine Love, which made me at-One with Him; and consequently I had knowledge of His Love and laws that enabled me to bring into operation laws that would cause the desired effects. A belief in my name causes no workings of these laws, nor brings response from the Father to any supplications.

“Prayer must be made to the Father in the name of truth, and to His Love and mercy. Every individual is dear to Him, and He is ready to bestow this Love upon everyone who asks in faith and pure desire. And in response to this earnest prayer will come Love, and knowledge of things spiritual, and also power that may be used for the good of humankind.

“My name is not a mediator beteen God and humans, and neither is belief in Jesus, a means to reach the responsive soul of the Father. If humans will understand my teachings, and instead of asking in my name, ask in “the name of truth,” then such asking will have results. But so few people, when they pray to the Father, have such intention or understanding.

“Only a knowledge of the truth for human’s salvation will enable them to seek in the right way to obtain this Gift of the Father. And when I say knowledge of the plan, I do not mean that humans shall understand all minutiae of this plan; but that knowledge must be sufficient, in the beginning, to show to them that the Father is a God of Love, and that this Love may be obtained by humans through earnest prayer for its bestowal. That’s all that’s necessary; for the resopnes that will follow will cause the New Birth, which, when experienced by humans, will place them in unison with God and lead to other truths in the plan. Amen

Works That I Did, Ye Shall Also Do

Message from Jesus, published in The Gospel of God’s Love, page 225.

“I have been with you a great deal today, and know what has been the workings of your mind; and I’ve tried to influence some of your thoughts. I was with you at the church in the morning and heard the sermon, the minister did not rightfully comprehend the meaning of the text: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also, and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my Father. If ye shall ask anything in my name I will do it…”

“His explanation of what was meant by “greater works than I do” when refered to ‘works’, I meant those works which the world considers as miracles. I intended to assure my disciples that they would have power to do similar works, or similar” miracles” to a greater extent than I had performed them – “greater” referring to quantity and not to quality.

“But this power, or the successful exercise of it, was not dependent upon belief in my name, but upon their faith in the power of God, and in the fact that He would confer upon them that power. There was no virtue in my name, or in me as the individual, Jesus, but all virtue rested in the faith that they might have in God. I never performed any so-called miracles of my own self, but they were all performed by the Father, working through me; and just as He worked through me, He would work through my disciples who should acquire the necessary faith.

“All acts that are apparently miracles are controlled by law, just as those things you call the workings of nautre are controlled by law; and when sufficient faith is acquired, there comes to its possessor a knowledge of these laws, It may not be a knowledge that is perceptible to the ordinary consciousness of humans, but is perceptible to that inner sense which enables humans to comprehend the things of the spirit. And having this knowledge of the inner sense, humans may so control these laws that they will work those effects which seem to be contrary to the accustomed workings of the laws of nature. Until my disciples had acquired this faith that brought to their inner sense this knowledge, they could perform no “miracle.” To be continued…

He That Believeth On Me…

From Jesus, in The Gospel of God’s Love, page 224.

“I was with you at the meeting, and saw you were thinking of several things I had written, and wanted to tell the preacher of these truths, but, of course, you could not.

“He taught from the Bible text, which I am credited with having uttered, but my meaning was different from the way he explained it. When I said “He that believeth on me shall never die,” I meant that the person whose soul was not dead in sin, and who believed the truths that I declared – that God’s Divine Love was waiting to enter into and fill their soul with its Essence – AND who by faith, received  that Love, such person would never die. That is, they would become Immortal, as God is Immortal.

No mere belief in me as Jesus the man, or as the “son of God,” is sufficient to give a person eternal life. For while they must believe that I was sent by the Father to proclain the great truth, that He had again bestowed upon humankind the possibility of obtaining this Divine Love by their prayers and faith, yet unless they believed this AND became the possessors of this Divine Love, they could never claim to possess this eternal life.

I wish that the preacher would pay more attention to the truths that I taught – that is, those truths which show humans the Father’s Love, waiting to be bestowed, and the way to obtain It – than to my personality. I, Jesus, as the son of man or of God, do not save any person from their sins and make them at-One with the Father. But the truths which I taught, and were taught me by the Father, ARE things that save.

I know that preachers attempt to explain these things by the light of the Bible, as they understand that light, but it is so often obscured that instead of preaching from light, they preach from darkness. For these reasons, I am anxious to deliver to you my teachings, that the world may know what the truth is, and what the individual must do in order to obtain eternal life and immortality

“I know that you are anxious to do this work, and that your soul is longing for the inflowing of God’s Love. Keep up your courage, trust in the Father, and believe in my love. Your brother and friend, Jesus”

“Grieving” the Holy Spirit

Published in The Gospel of God’s Love, page 247, John the Apostle.

” I want to say that your condition is improving, and that in a few nights we will be able to continue our messages. Then you will feel happier and better spiritually.

“I was with you tonight at the meeting, and it did you good, for there were many spirits present who have the Love, to some degree, and their influence was being exercised on and felt by the listeners.

“The preacher is a man with a considerable amount of the Divine Love in his soul, and only if he had a true conception of Jesus, he would find himself possessing more of this Love. His idea of the Holy Spirit is such that it interferes with his receiving the effect of Its workings. He thinks and believes it to be an entity – in other words, a being of substance and thought and sentient capacity – whereas it is not, but merely evidence of the working of God’s own Soul in the bestowing of His Love and Mercy.

“The Holy Spirit is God’s messenger for this purpose, and is not a creation of His, as is Jesus and the rest of humankind, It is merely an “energy” of the Soul of the Father, conveying His Love. The Holy Spirit could have no existence without the Soul of the Father, and is entirely dependent upon the power of that Soul for its existence; and only in the sense that it conveys God’s Love can it be called “the Comforter.”

“And so, to “grieve the spirit,” as the preacher said, could only mean that the Love of God is grieved-which in fact is not true, for this Love is never “grieved.” It is so great and so intense in its desire that humans shall receive It that It never becomes grieved – though it is often “disappointed,” as you may say, that humans will not receive It. But It is always present, waiting for humans, by their longings and prayers, to open their souls to Its reception. So this remember: that this Love of the Father is so very great that the spirit which conveys It to humans cannot become “grieved.”

“You must pray more and let your faith increase, and you will learn what the Holy Spirit is, and how it operates, and your prayers will be answered, and your desires realized. Your brother in Christ, John”

Human Souls Can Become Divine

Another Blog from Jesus’ message, The Likeness of God. Published in The Gospel of God’s Love, page 68.

“The human soul is subject to the “will” of humans, which is the greatest of all endowments bestowed upon them by their Maker at their creation, and is the certain index of the workings of that will, either in thought or action. In the soul, qualities of love and affection, appeities and passion are influenced by the power of the will, either for good or evil. It may be dormant or stagnant, or it may be active and progressive. So it’s energies may be ruled by the will for good or evil, but these energies belong to the soul and are not part of the will.

“The soul’s “home” is in the spirit body, and it is never without such body, the appearance and composition of which is determined by the condition and state of the soul. And the soul, or its condition, decides the destiny of the humans as they continue their existence in the spirit world. Not a final destiny, because the condition of the soul is never fixed; and as this condition changes, the human’s destiny changes. For destiny is a thing of the moment, and finality is not known to the progress of the soul (unless it becomes the perfect human, and then satisfied, seeks no higher progress).

“In your common language, and in theological and philosophical terms, mortals who have passed into spirit life are said to be “spirits,” but such mortals are not nebulous or invisible existences. They have a reality of substance-more real and enduring than when in the flesh, and are visible, subject to touch, and the object of other spiritual senses. So when “soul, spirit and body” are spoken of, it should be said; Soul, spirit body and material body.

“There is a “spirit,” but it is altogether distinct from the spirit body, and also from the soul.  It is an attribute of the soul exclusively, and without the soul it could not exist. It has no substance and it is not visible; only the effects of its workings can be seen or understood. It is without body, form, or substance, yet it is real and powerful and, when existing, never ceases in its operation. It is the active energy of the soul.

“I know the Father will continue to bless you.  Your brother and friend, Jesus”
